This app is a great way to be able to experience something nice,different or in my case I could not rent due to not having a major credit card. The vehicle I chose was a perfect fit for my family. There were a few issues from the start with the vehicle. The van was some what clean on exterior but still needed to wash before trip. The interior was a bit of a different story. I really try to be a person that tries to accept most things that life sends my way so not trying to ruin our trip or create any problems I just tried to look past items that were left in van. The floor board at driver seat was filthy. Like a full coffee latte was spilled but not cleaned. Splatter was on console and up to air controls and radio. Very back of van was full of GameStop bags, probably 500 or more plastic bags. Towels that were wet and an old ice chest with stuff in it. A box of forms that read to be shredded. The back seat had a service uniform hanging on hangers. I kept an open mind just to be able to take our trip. I removed all items at home to be able to fit our luggage and belongings. I was Leary if the forms in the box due to what information they may contain. Began trip van ran well until reaching our destination. The maintenance required immediately light came on and battery would die. Requiring jump start. It left us stranded several times requiring jumpstart but once again. I continue to try to keep my family happy during our trip. I’m employed as a maintenance mech so my knowledge told me this issue was just a bad battery. As most families these days know taking a trip is somewhat hard and financially demanding so the time effort and money put into keeping our trip moving forward was slightly difficult. Having 4 children ,wife and myself as well as her father. I’m not trying to make any problem for our van owner but just think that a little more effort in insuring that vehicle is ready would be certainly appreciated. Some of the delays pushed us into needing to extend our trip but had difficulty in completing this through the app. Not sure if any cost will be added to our trip fees but I do hope that they will take into consideration the issues that were encountered.
