Guidelines

By booking my vehicle, you are agreeing that you have read and accepted all Terms and Conditions below. •The vehicle must be returned in the same condition that it was received. If you can’t find a car wash/gas station, both are conveniently located 30 seconds away from my drop off lot. You can inquire about more information by directly messaging me. •In the event that the vehicle has been returned without a full gas tank, you are responsible for the actual gas bill + a turo administrative fee. You can add $70 for post trip refueling to your booking by the modifying the trip and adding this option located within the " Extras " section. •In the event that the vehicle is returned filthy, you are responsible for additional cleaning charges, which range from $30 to $250; or you can add $25 for post trip cleaning to your booking by the modifying the trip and adding this option located within the " Extras " section. •Smoking cigarettes and marijuana is STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the vehicle. Any violation of the smoking policy will be subject to up to a $250 fee. All turo cleaning policies may be reviewed by following the link: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000808347-Cleaning-policy • Turo administrative fee added to any parking violations issued by city and not paid directly by you. •The vehicle must be returned on time (as indicated on your booking reservation) as the next client is scheduled immediately after your drop off. The vehicle was in excellent condition and was exactly as described. A little challenge at drop off purely due to the time in the morning we tried to drop off. Contacted Turo for advice and Yana supported awesomely. Highly recommend renting from Yana.

If you are considering to rent through this person "Yana", you will want to read my full review before booking an appointment. First, I would like to preface that this was my first experience using Turo. And the main reason I chose to rent through Turo was the very competitive price vs big rental companies. I don't think I will want to go through this horrible experience again. If you want to read the details, you can read below. But to summarize, I received the vehicle 24 minutes too late, and the renter was extremely unprofessional, rude, impolite, and inconsiderate of my time. Also, the vehicle was listed “Los Angeles International Airport FREE” on the side at the time of making my reservation. I had to uber/lyft from and to the location costing me $25 out of my own pocket. The Renter did not specify this information UNTIL AFTER I had completed my payment for the reservation. The information is misleading and should be correctly for clarity and listing accuracy. Also, I want to emphasize that receiving my vehicle at my appointment time(1:00 PM) was crucial to me because I had other personal schedule lined up afterward. So, weeks before my appointment date, I initially scheduled my vehicle for 1:00PM. *Also, note that this is my first time using Turo, so I expected to be PICKED UP at the Airport(I wasn't). AFTER I had confirmed my appointment and completed my payment online, I received an automated message explaining the instructions for the vehicle pickup process. Turns out, that you WON'T be picked up from the airport. You have to either ride a hotel shuttle and ask them to drop you off in the middle of its route (Because the vehicle is parked at a sketchy parking lot, NOT at a hotel!). Imagine how awkward/inconvenient it'll be to explain and ask the driver to do you a favor by dropping you off in the middle of their regular route. OR, you can pay out of your pocket to Uber/Lyft to the location. (I paid about $12 each trip from and to between the airport and the vehicle location, total $25) When I arrived at the location(12:45ish), there was a small, crowded parking lot in front of an old, rugged house. The lot was filled with few(maybe six) very dusty vehicles with flat tires and 3 "normal" cars. I knocked on the door of the building. Noone answered. There is NO sign or any information regarding the building. At this point, I have no idea if I'm even at the correct place. I call "Yana"(Renter) through the phone number provided through Turo (12:50). She tells me that her employee should be there. I tell her otherwise. She gives me a number and tells me to call "Vlad"(12:53). I proceeded to call the number and Vlad answers the phone and tells me that he's at a nearby "dry cleaner"(12:54). He asks me for my name and which vehicle(Kia Sedona Minivan) I was inquiring about. While waiting for Vlad to arrive with our vehicle, three more people show up, also waiting for Vlad. I spoke to them and confirmed that they also rented through Turo and had made appointments for their vehicles at 1:00PM. At 1:16, Vlad arrives with a Jeep Cherokee, a vehicle different from what I had reserved. He gets out of his car, not even acknowledging me or the other customer waiting, and proceeds to inspect and photograph his vehicle before handing the key to the one of the customer. Frustrated, I approached him and asked him why it's 1:17 and I haven't received my vehicle yet. He tried to reason with me that the vehicle was being cleaned before delivery. I told him I needed a vehicle at 1:00, not wait for a car to finish through a carwash. He glances at his watch, and says "It's only 15 minutes" while shrugging his shoulders. During the entire time, he took his sweet o' time. No rush, not inclined to speed things up. At 1:20pm, he finally arrives at the lot with my rental vehicle. He proceeds to photograph his vehicle's exterior and I finally receive the car key at 1:24pm. Turns out, the car even hasn't been washed or cleaned. The interior was dirty with trash from the previous use, with sand all over the trunk, and the car had no signs of a recently washed car(No water drops). The drop off process was the same, I had to drive the vehicle to the lot, and uber/lyft back to the airport because obviously there is NO hotel shuttle stopping in the middle of the street to pick you up (duh). "Yana" messaged me in the morning of my dropoff day to inform me that she won't be at the "office". So I filled up the gas, parked in their lot, and dropped the car key in the designated key box. And that was my first Turo experience. To conclude, I want to state that : Vlad was VERY unprofessional, rude, impolite, inconsiderate, lacked punctuality, and the list goes on. He doesn't value customers' time. He does not care whether or not you are late to your next appointment or schedule. Oh, and I should mention he had his earphones in the entire time. I'm not even sure if "Yana" exists. I think they just use her female image and her identity to provide a sense of security for the customer and credibility for their business. It's Vlad that stays on the spot and faces the customers directly. The only positive aspect of this experience was the cost compared to other big rental companies. Other than that, I'd rate Yana and Vlad their business all 0/5. I'm certain that there are plenty of other renters who are more professional and courteous. Avoid "Yana".

The pick up fee is a joke really inconvenient to get to their lot. The guy at the lot told us Yana had died when we asked to speak to her about the lack of child seats they had promised. Inner of the child seats was just sitting outside by the trash. The other one they offered was in all Korean and had no install instructions. Do not rent from Yana. She may not even be alive.
