Welcome! We strive to make your rental experience as stress free as possible. We found the best way to do that is to be up front with what is expected of you, our renter, to ensure a good friendly rental experience.
Here are the guidelines....
Smoking and Cleaning Policy: As in all rental cars there is no smoking allowed. Up to $250 for cleaning a car that has been smoked in. Up to $30 for returning the car very dirty.
Avoidance: Do not smoke in the car. We hate charging you for cleaning. Please do your best to keep the car clean. We take care of minor cleaning, not major messes.
Simply put, we deliver you a clean car, please try to return it somewhat clean.
Tolls: Our cars are equipped with toll tags. They save you 40 to 60% but they do add up quickly You will be responsible for all tolls. Toll tags will work in all EZ Pass Lanes.
Avoidance of tolls: This will increase your trip time significantly during rush hour times.
Tickets: All unpaid tickets will be collected with a $50 surcharge fee.
Avoidance: Pay the ticket through the court when you get it.
Late Fees: $50 per hour late return. If you are late picking up the car at the start of your trip we can cancel the trip with no refund due. The exception to this is airport delays, we will leave the car at the airport if your flight is delayed. We will provide instruction on where to find it and how to unlock it.
Avoidance: Just be prompt and in communication with us to avoid fees or cancellation of your trip. We are on time, we ask you to be on time also.
Trip extensions: We do allow for trip extensions
Mileage: The app shows you how many total miles you are allowed on your trip. We do charge a mileage overage fee for excess miles.
Avoidance: Refer to your dashboard to see the total number of miles allowed on your trip. Do not drive more miles than allowed.
Fuel: Fuel not replaced will cost you $25 plus fuel cost. Turo charges you $25 if we have to refill the fuel tanks. Our German cars take premium fuel only.You will recieve the cars with a full tank of fuel. Please refill the car before returning it to avoid the $25 fee that Turo charges.
Tire policy: Our cars are equipped with very good tires. But Turo tire policy states that if you get a flat, you repair it. If you ruin a tire, you buy a new tire. Basically, you own the tires while on the trip. The 24 hour roadside assistance card is in the center console. If you have tire problems you can call Turo at this number. You should not have any problems with our tires, but you never know.
We know this is a lot to remember please keep this on your phone so you can refer back to it as you need it.
