Description

**PLEASE** Click on the 'More' button below, or 'READ MORE' Please read: ** PLEASE send your phone number in your message and some info about your destinations. ** You can email me at carshareseattle on gmail, but please use Turo to check availability. ** See Guidelines below for lots more tips and info. DESCRIPTION: This Kia Rio is solid ride and gets great gas mileage (28+) with manual shift. It is pretty clean inside with a light tan interior. It's simple, pretty clean and very reliable, but WITHOUT POWER STEERING or AIR CONDITIONING. It's ideal for highway trips, but I drove it downtown Seattle, during the summer, for Uber for several months. If you've never driven without power steering, it takes some extra arm strength, especially if you need to parallel park a lot. Please don't get upset if you don't like it. Most people have enjoyed the car, a few have not. It is one of the cheaper cars on Turo, best suitable for those who need a basic car. Below is the Turo Clutch policy and a link to my driver's test for clutch: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203740164-Clutch-policy http://insightrental.com/drivetest/ HELPFUL CAR DETAILS: * To switch to AUX from radio, press the volume knob in. * If the passenger side door lock doesn't turn smoothly, flip the key over and it should work. * Occasionally the check engine light comes on for a MAF sensor code which has been replaced. As long as the light isn't flashing it means it's not a major issue, it will often go back off on its own.

Guidelines

* If you're flying in: let me know when you've landed, I'm roughly as far away as the time it takes to get bags. Then let me know the zone number and the Door Number (1-30) above the door you exit through and I can meet you there. * Checkout takes about 10 minutes and includes: check ID, take photos (I usually will have uploaded a set, but you're welcome to add more), walk-around and explain car details. I've uploaded most photos of existing dents to the website. * I may have a ride home, but sometimes if you're heading toward Seattle, I may ask if there's space to drive together. Delivery includes both directions, but sometimes I could use a ride to my car parked nearby. * An Uber/Lyft is approximately $30-50 from the airport to downtown or $7 to the Park and Ride. * There is a Good2Go toll pass for discounts on highways 405 and 167, and 520 and Tacoma Narrows bridges (about $3). There's a flex-pass for carpoolers upon request. If you get a couple tolls it's not a big deal, but if you get a bunch let me know and I'll add them up. * If you get the car extra dirty, please vacuum or wash it, or let me know so I can have it ready for the next Guest. * The Turo app is very handy for photos, messaging and location sharing. * You can contact Turo support using chat in the app or the urgent phone line. * Cancellation policy can be found here: turo.com/policies/cancellation. * FYI, Turo Protection Plans don't cover windshield or tire repair. * If you're traveling to Canada you may need permission in a Turo message from me.

Austin's very professional, and helped me through some snafus. The car was clean, well-maintained, and ran well.

Very responsive and easy to work with. The Kia is no-frills but pretty reliable, and price could not be beat!

Austin is amazing. This was my first Turo experience. I felt safe, cared for, and clear on everything from his communication. The Kia was fun to drive. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
