This car is not what it looks like in the photos, it is worn out. The steering wheel is around 15 degrees misaligned, the interior is in poor shape, and it is covered in dents and scratches. When I picked the car up, it was Filthy and had random trash inside also. It is fast as hell but because of the shape it’s in you don’t feel confident it’ll hold up at any exciting speeds. The tires were all worn and this added to the performance, to be honest it’s price reflects what you’d get. Worse yet was it’s owner, Bryan who left me hanging the day drop off after he requested I leave it at the airport. When I called he didn’t pick up or answer texts about where specifically to leave the car until a day later.
i was hesitant to rent bryans camaro. But im glad i did. Others reviews have been less then positive.. Bryans camaro is almost 10 years old. It isnt a perfect car. But bryan isnt asking for a premium amount. If you want a perfect camaro you should rent one of the other camaros that cost double. For the price point i had no issues. Everything inside worked. everything outside works. theres a few small battle scars on it. But its to be expected from a 10 year old car. bryan communicated with me during pick up and drop off. I would rent through bryan again if needed.
The car, like most muscle cars, is great with power and style. Bryan was also very responsive and helpful. However, there were a few faults that lead me to giving this a 3 star review. I have rented through Turo before, and my experience had been very positive. When I landed in Bush and went to pick up the car, I saw that there was quite a lot of damage that wasn't indicated in the pictures. I own a Camaro of this generation, so I understand what a well maintained and kept car should look like. The interior was very dirty, and the plastics were very discolored, as if someone had been smoking for many years inside of it. There was yellow film and grit over the console and vents. The worst concern that I had was that there was a notification in the dash that said "service airbag," not a good sign. Additionally, the car had been parked for 4 days in the economy lot, so I had to pay $24 out of pocket to move the car out of the lot. Bryan was responsive and said he was going to contact Turo about the reimbursement, but it has been over a week and I haven't heard of any updates. Finally, there was a lot of on-center vagueness with the steering, leading me to believe it has not been well maintained, as my 5th gen Camaro does not suffer from the same issues. Overall, you get what you pay for.
