100% ALL ELECTRIC FIAT 500e, NO GASOLINE!! Unlimited Miles! You can drive about 87 miles on a full charge. The battery charge time from 10% to 100% full is about 3 hours at 240 volts on a level 2 charger, which is what most charge stations use.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INFO BELOW BEFORE RENTING THIS CAR.
LOCATE J1772 CHARGE STATIONS NEAR YOU AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH HOW TO USE THEM. Just like a normal car that needs gasoline; this car will need electricity to run.
DO NOT LET THE BATTERY RUN DOWN TO 0%, or the car will have no power; it will stop moving, be non-drivable, and have to be TOWED, at your expense, to a charge station and charged up before it will drive again. It is the same to run an electric car out of electricity as to run a gasoline car out of gas.
I recommend searching Google or downloading, in advance to renting to car, an electric vehicle (EV) charging station app, such as: "Charge Point", "Charge Hub", and "Plug Share" or other similar electric vehicle charge station finder apps on your smart phone to find the many places to charge this car.
Although many charge stations are FREE for public use, some may require a credit card and charge you about $5 per charge.
WHERE TO FIND CHARGE STATIONS:
Parking garages/ lots, malls, gas stations, hotels, resorts, arena's, convention centers, parks, museums, beaches, city owned properties, grocery stores, pharmacy's, new car dealerships, library's, airports, banks, court houses, and many more places have charging stations.
The instrument cluster on the dash will display APPROXIMATELY how many miles you can travel and the percentage of battery power remaining. I recommend finding a charge station anytime the dash displays you only have about 20% battery remaining or 20 miles left to drive. This should allow you ample driving distance to find a charge station nearby; plan accordingly.
This car is NOT for you if;
1. You need to drive more than about 80 miles non-stop.
2. You don’t want to wait to recharge the car’s battery.
Please contact me with any questions about how to charge, find charging stations, or using this all electric car. It's sort of like driving a street legal, luxury, hi-tech golf cart, haha.
There is an included j-1772 level 1 standard household 120 volt outlet charger with a 22ft long cable that comes with the car. This charger should be considered for emergency use only, as it takes about 18 hours to charge the battery from 10% to 100%.
ABOUT THE CAR:
This well loaded up electric vehicle (EV) features heated leather seats, power windows, mirrors, door locks, remote key fob, a digital high tech smart dash, phone charging port, ice cold AC, Bluetooth, voice commands, GPS navigation, and much more!
The front-engine, front-wheel-drive, 4-passenger, 3-door hatchback car has an automatic 1-speed direct drive transmission where you just push a button for Park, Reverse, or Drive. There's room for 2 large adults in the front seats and 2 small adults/ kids in the rear seats.
Zero to 60 mph in about 8 seconds and a top speed limited to 88 mph, gives you all the peppiness you need from a zippy lil sub-compact car like this.
The permanent-magnet AC synchronous electric motor produces 111 hp, 147 lb-ft with it's 24-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The 500e is a bit quicker, smoother, and much quieter than the gas-powered 500.

Florida charges a mandatory tax/fee on all car-sharing/rental cars. This tax/fee includes: 6% state tax, 2.5% county tax, $2.14 daily surcharge, $0.80 daily vehicle license fee, and $0.02 daily tire/battery fee. These taxes/fees will be calculated on your full trip cost (except deposits) and charged under the heading of "Tolls/tickets" after the end of your trip.
Once the vehicle is returned, if there are any additional fees due, such as; tolls, tickets, mileage overages, late return fees, cleaning fees, or damage to the car, then Turo will message you with the amount due.
To avoid these miscellaneous fees basically return the vehicle the same as when you received it. Stay within the allowed miles, avoid tolls and tickets (if possible), make sure the vehicle is clean inside and out, on time when returning it, and damage free.
