When you're trip is over you'll simply drop the car off in one of the guest parking spots, return the keys to the leasing office and we'll take care of the rest! Enjoy unlimited miles on every trip over 7 days! Want even more savings? Return the car in a clean condition and save yourself the $25 cleaning fee! BUYER BEWARE!!!! The entire experience from beginning to the end was terrible and not the standards I have been used to when renting from Turo (credible record of renting). When we arrived in California to pick up car, we were told a friend of the car owner would be dropping it off. When we went to look for it based on the communication of the owner, the car was not there. We wandered around for 30 minutes until we received a message that, in fact, it was not where he had originally said and redirected us to correct level of parking garage. When we got inside of the car, we noticed that the tire pressure light was on and the oil light was at Zero (we documented with pictures). Plus, 1/4 tank of gas. When we asked about the gas he was clearly annoyed and asked if we were used to renting from Turo and that having a low gas tank was standard. His communication was flippant and rude (no biggie...as he put it..that it took awhile to find the car). On the way back to the airport after our trip was done we experienced a flat tire on an LA Freeway and had to pull off into a questionable neighborhood at about 4:30a (dark). Unsure what to do, we messaged the owner with no response. We looked for a spare tire and we were going to change it ourselves. We could not find one. When the owner messaged back he said "do you seriously expect a call at 4:00a . It was not 4:00a but about 4:45. He went on to say that the car did not have a spare tire in it. At that point we needed to catch a plane back home so we parked the car in a parking spot (we did not abandon it as is like was suggested). We called a taxi which cost us $75 to go to Long Beach Airport. The owner in all of this back and forth communication suggested that we were looking for a free trip from the beginning and that we vandalized, damaged the car on purpose. Needless to say, we have a claim going on with Turo since the driver submitted damage claims for abandoned car, flat tire to fix. I cannot give a good recommendation for this owner and would be carful about renting from him. He was rude, not pleasant to deal with and worst of all throwing out accusations that were untrue.
