For your full enjoyment of riding the car of the future and a hassle free return, without worrying about cleaning up after your trip, please purchase the Post-trip cleaning extra.
We will make an attempt to have the vehicle delivered with at least 155 miles of EV range (50%). Please return the vehicle with the same EV range as you received to avoid an extra charge, or purchase the Prepaid EV recharge extra.
If you feel like you are in danger, or that you cannot get to a safe place, please call 911 emergency line. If you and the car is in an accident, get to a safe location and notify us immediately. There is insurance information in the glove compartment. If the vehicle is disabled and you need further assistance, give us a call.
Turo has a strict insurance policy that ends when your trip ends. If you need more time, please notify us. Keep in mind the time it takes to recharge your rental vehicle when planning to arrive at your return time. Not notifying us before your scheduled return time may result in fees listed under Turo support:
Tesla mobile access should not to be disabled at any time. If for any reason you must disable this, please notify us first. If the Tesla Mobile access is disabled, valet mode will be enabled, and the vehicle will be reported stolen to local law enforcement. You will be responsible for all fees as a result of this.
To preserve the longevity of battery, it is not recommended to charge the car beyond 90%.
Supercharger and Fastrak access is offered as conveniences, these services are NOT FREE. The renter is responsible for usage fees.
If you need the car delivered to you or pickup from you after 8:00pm or before 7:00am, there will be an extra charge.
If you need to pickup the car later than indicated, please let us know.
No smoking in the car please. Violators will be subject to fine up to $250 based on Turo fees & fines policy.
*** Toll/Fastrak Policy ***
Our car has installed Fastrak trap to cross all the bridges in the Bay Area, when the car crossing the toll plaza, they will scan the device & the system will subtract our bank. If you decide to use this feature, please keep track all the trips & fees. Please notify us at the time of return if you used the tolls. We will pay these bills first, and request a reimbursement through the Turo app later.
The toll fee usually as follows
$6 Monday - Friday: 5am - 10am & 3pm - 7pm
$4 in Non-Commuter Hours
$5 for all day Saturday & Sunday
$7 for Golden Gate Bridge only

*** Late Return ***
If you want to extend your trip for several hours, you can just modify the time through Turo dashboard BEFORE the trip ended. Or message us on Turo to see whether the car is OK for a slightly late return (This is to protect you as Turo insurance is only effective during the rental periods).
*** Accident and Unexpected Issue ***
For accident, collision and other: If there's human body injuries, call 911. To solve any issue about the car, call 24/7 roadside support 866-735-2901 immediately.
*** Long Term Rental ***
Long-term rental request is very welcome. Feel free to message us if you plan to rent our car for a couple of weeks/months. Discount is provided for long-term rental.
