IF YOU CANNOT DO THAT, PLEASE CHOOSE THE REALLY REASONABLE RATE OF $80 FOR DELIVERY AND PICKUP (we can get into the math here, but if we have to drive an hour, charge the car for an hour, spend $30 to Uber home, spend $30 to Uber to you, charge the car for an hour and drive an hour to get back home, a smaller delivery fee is tough for us to manage unfortunately) - Rental Rate is generally $99/Day when booked in advance with a minimum two-day rental - 200 Miles per Day for daily rentals (note: weekly/monthly allowances are different and additional miles are charged at $0.75/mile for each mile driven over the allowance) Please help us out by doing the following: - Drive like a sane person. We can track mileage and the way the car was driven. - We will try to leave you the car with ~80% charge as time permits (Tesla generally does not recommend charging beyond 85-90% to preserve the life of the battery); should you need to recharge the car during your rental, you may either: + Use Tesla's Supercharger network for free (locations available on the navigation system, with the closest one located less than eight miles south of the Turo SFO lot) or + Use my accounts (keycards provided) at Blink Network or Chargepoint charging stations - IF YOU ARE ABLE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RETURN THE CAR WITH A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF CHARGE; while other renters are OK to let you run their car to 0 and leave it wherever, towing the car to a charging station is neither fun nor cheap for us :( not having to charge the car all the way also helps us save time getting the car ready for the next renter. - Keep it clean for us and the next renter and please do not smoke or vape in the car; while you may do this and much more with options that promise not to charge a cleaning fee no matter what, we will levy a cleaning fee to maintain the highest standard experience for the next renter if we have reason to believe you failed to adhere to our policies. THIS MEANS PLEASE RETURN THE CAR IN THE CONDITION YOU RECEIVED IT. IF NOT, YOU WILL BE CHARGED AT LEAST A $45 CLEANING FEE. - Have fun! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I am not often able to swing by the Turo lot (30-minute drive from my home) to charge the car, so it's a major inconvenience for everyone when it is returned near empty.
  • HOW CLEAN SHOULD THE CAR BE WHEN I RETURN IT?
    The car should be *presentable* to the next renter. If it is not (the professionals at the Turo lot will make the judgment on this, not me), then I will charge you $45, which is the cost for me to call a mobile car wash service named Wascher.

Car stunk and was filthy, tire pressure warning was on, had half a charge when picked up, no communication regarding where the valet was to pickup (not at airport, had to Uber to the valet with all our bags) or areas to charge the vehicle. Not sure how this vehicle has so many 5 star reviews. Doubt I’ll use Turo again
