Your new rental will be located in the UmbaLux 1064 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA To drive: Once you’ve located your car, you’ll find the key in the lockbox on the passenger side. Now you’re ready for your trip! Your rental is already conveniently set up for automated toll crossing using my license plate number, so feel free to use the FasTrak lane anytime. You will be charged by Getaround directly for any tolls incurred during your trip, along with a $1.50 processing fee. To return: At the end of your trip, please return the keys to their original location in the lockbox, of course. Park the car at the same location you pick it up from. Lastly, thank you for allowing us to provide a ride for your trip! We hope you’ll let us serve you again the next time you’re back.

Guidelines

1. Return car with same level of gas as the trip started with (if returned with less there will be a $25 service charge on top of the cost of gas missing. Car requires Premium Gas! 2. No smoking/drugs/drinking in vehicle *This can equate to a $250.00 turo fine* 3. No aggressive driving with speeds above 90mph/aggressive acceleration/unnecessary hard braking. 4. Return car clean as it was when trip was initiated. 5. Car wheels/rims must come back undamaged - be vigilant of curbs, pot holes, etc. *Damage to rims range between $150.00 to $1000.00* 6. Review your mileage allowance. Additional miles will be billed at extra charge per mile depends on vehicle. 7. Car must be returned on time. Many cars are rented back to back therefore punctual returns are a necessity! Turo policy is $50.00 per hour billed in 15 minute increments after the first hour. 8. If when you pick the car up and it is dirty and messy, probably the previous renter did not keep the car clean. Is it ok if you could send me a feel photos showing the car is dirty at 415-866-9663. And if you have sometimes to go to the carwash to keep your trip smooth and better experience, Send me a copy of your receipt at UmbaRide@gmail.com with your name in the subject line, I will reimburse you for the carwash and also add extra $10 for inconvenient fee. But I need pictures to prove the previous renter did not keep the car clean. 9.If you drop off the car before the time has been set, please contact us by phone for instructions as the system will send the drop off instruction 30 minutes before your book. 10. YOU HAVE TO PAY 8.5% TAX OF YOUR CAR RENTAL DUE TO SANFRANCISCO POLICY I've noticed these items have been rare points of issue over my first 100 trips. Please read the following as I've mentioned my preference is leaving clients with stellar reviews to help the ride sharing marketplace thrive from both the owner and renter's perspective. I was in a bind and needed a car for the day. The process of using Turo itself was easy. UmbaLux first told me the car was in one location, then while I was on my way there told me the car was in another location. I changed directions and headed to the new spot. Finally I got another message that said the car was at the original location. The person who was messaging blamed it on an automatic message that was sent out. Picking up the car was fine, I took pictures and they unlocked the car remotely. The keys were inside. They didn’t give much instructions so it was a little confusing. The process took about 10 minutes. I tried calling them but no one would answer the phone. The car drove fine but had crumbs in the front seat! It wasn’t really messy, but it was obvious it wasn’t cleaned after the last person drove it. I brought the car back and parked it where I picked it up. Again I took pictures and uploaded them through the app. I tried to lock the keys in the car like when I found it but I wasn’t able to. They would not reply to my messages on Turo and would not answer the phone again! I felt uncomfortable leaving the car like that. The spot where the car is in is on the border if the tenderloin neighborhood which isn’t the best in SF. I dropped the car off at night and would recommend not wandering too far from where you drop it off. It started to be a little sketchy. Overall I would not rent from UmbaLux again. It was my first time using Turo, but the fact that they would not reply to the messages, answer the phone, and left me a dirty car did not sit well.
