Parking details

I am parked on the street in a small radius from 178 Church St. You can street park anywhere in the 'S' parking zone. Preferably you would park as close to 178 Church as possible where the car is safe for 24h following your trip. I have good luck parking between 14th and Duboce on Belcher, Sanchez, or Noe. Remember my car is not parked at 178 Church St, I choose that as the center of my parking circle. The street cleanings depend on the side of the street (Friday 8-10am or Thursday 8-10am on the streets I listed) Here are some resources on how to park in the area: - The zones are marked here https://www.sfmta.com/maps/residential-parking-permit-areas-maps-interactive-and-pdf - Follow the guide for parking in San Francisco https://www.sfmta.com/getting-around/drive-park/how-avoid-parking-tickets - This is a good tool for knowing where you can park https://www.xtreet.org/parking-san-francisco? You'll find the key located in the sun visor organizer in the glove compartment, please return it there at the end of your trip.

Guidelines

I do remote key handoff, so (per Turo terms here https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001847347-How-do-remote-key-handoffs-work) you must send me a picture of your face next to your driver's license before I unlock the car for you--think selfie! With your cool selfie, I ask you also photograph the odometer + gas before and after your trip for the mileage. Once you get to my car, please text me your selfie. I will unlock the car and you can find the key inside the glove box in the black "visor pouch" inside. Please then send me a picture of the odometer + gas. You are then free to lock/unlock normally. When you complete the trip and park safely, text me a picture of the odometer + gas again. Return the key to the glove box inside the "visor pouch" and let me know--I will remotely lock the doors. If you're going to be early or late to your trip, please let me know as close to the trip as possible. If you cannot get ahold of me through the app, text me, then call me. My car is linked to a FasTrak account for bridge tolls. I will add a $2 processing fee for the tolls you incur during your rental as there are fees on my side as well. For bridges that will accept cash, I would suggest you use cash to avoid that fee. The Golden Gate bridge is probably the only bridge that does not allow cash, but you can do a 1-time payment as described here https://www.bayareafastrak.org/en/guide/GGBridgeToll.shtml. Some important last words: 1. Please no smoking 2. No pets 3. Do not leave anything on the seats as break ins are common in this city. 4. Jr. Mint is not meant for snowy conditions, so please keep it in his natural habitat!

Faqs

  • What do I do when I get to your car?
Take a selfie with your driver's license and your face so I can make sure it's you (per Turo conditions) and text it to me. I will unlock the car for you remotely. You will then be able to access the key in the glove compartment in the black Getaround branded "visor pouch." Before you zip off, please remember to snap a picture of the gas level and odometer reading and send it to me!
  • What do I do once I have safely parked Jr Mint after an exciting adventure?
Make sure you are parked legally in a spot that is good for a full 24 hours from your ending time. Snap a picture of the gas level and mileage information, place the key back into the "visor pouch" and into the glove compartment. Please close the door and, before leaving, ask me to remotely lock the car.
