All the current tech specs (USB, etc) -On Star enabled for your safety and our protection --------------ReadBelow Please: No smoking No international trips, stay relatively close to San Diego (neglegent operation resulting in towing fees will be charged to you) Treat it like its yours. ** Trips lasting longer than 6 days will be subject to $12 wash fee (or you can have it washed at a place of your choice). The car will be washed before your trip, must be brought back in same condition. Car must be returned as you received it. No smoking! -Late night exchanges are may incur $10 fee (midnight - 5 am) - Pets ok but you MUST clean interior at end of trip - all tolls will be paid for you AUTOMATICALLY. This is to protect renters from large fines. 50% will be added for all transactions. If you do not agree DO NOT use the toll roads.

This host is not nice. He is very sarcastic and crass. He even said “I don’t like renting to your types” And “I bet you were to cheap to get the Turo insurance” after I got into a small fender bender with his vehicle. Btw, I did purchase the insurance and I recommend you do too. But, he continued to send me rude messages after the rental was done until I told him I would report him for harassment. Very unprofessional. Not recommended.

Casey was decent. Had there been better communication as well as professionalism, the rating would have been higher. Prior to the trip beginning, the host made the situation a bit sketchy by asking for a selfie along with my drivers license. I had already provided this information to Turo, therefore, I did not understand the purpose of it being asked for again by the host, but nonetheless I still went ahead and provided what he asked. I was told by the host that directions would be given prior to picking up the vehicle, which wasn’t the case. I arrived and couldn’t get ahold of Casey for a good 15 min after the trip had already begun. When he finally decided to reply, I was instructed to search for the key inside the vehicle which was unlocked. I was unable to find the key, and again, unable to reach Casey right away. When he finally decided to respond, he said the previous guest must have kept the key and he did not want to bother them. So he gave me two options: he offered a different vehicle that was a much older model than the one I first chose on Turo or for me to contact Turo and request a refund. Mind you, I’m a young female waiting by myself in a vacant parking lot at night, the Uber driver who gave me a ride was nice enough to wait for me, but it was way past the time I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle, and I desperately needed a vehicle to get to work the next day (my own vehicle was getting serviced) So I agreed to the first option Casey offered and was told by him that he had a direct number to Turo and that he would be contacting them to let them know about the transaction and that the car insurance info would be transferred to the new vehicle. I waited another 15 min for Casey to show up with the new vehicle and finally left the parking lot nearly 45 minutes after I was scheduled. I called Turo the next day and they told me Casey never called them, and that I must return the vehicle immediately as I was not insured. Long story short, I was not pleased with the transaction at all and it’s by far the worst experience I’ve had when renting a vehicle from Turo.

I gave one star because Casey was rude responding our messages. The car was very dirty on the outside and we had to wait about half an hour before we could get into the car because he had to unlock it and wasn’t responding. Also, the tank wasn’t full. Overall the trip was fine and the car is a good one.
