No Smoking in the car. This includes but is not limited to Cigarettes, Cigars, Marijuana, Vape, Air Fresheners, etc. Smoke smell will result in a $250 deep cleaning fee to remove the smell. It is important to remember this car is used exclusively for car sharing. Please be considerate of the next guest and keep the car odor free. Glitter will result in a $100 cleaning fee. Food and drink is allowed but stains resulting from food and/or drink will be charged a deep cleaning fee.


  • Is cleaning required?
    If you pre-purchase cleaning ($8 extra) then no cleaning is required. This does not cover stains/smoke smell/food left in the car. If you do not pre-purchase cleaning, a cleaning fee of $30 will be required if the vehicle is returned dirtier than when it was picked up.
  • Can I let someone else drive the car?
    Only the person who rents the car is insured to drive the vehicle. If you expect that someone else might drive the vehicle, simply upload their drivers license to the TURO app. It’s very easy to do. Unfortunately, failure to do this will cause insurance to be void, and you will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage.
  • Does the car need to be refueled before return?
    Yes. The car will always be delivered with a full tank of gas. Failure to return the car with a full tank of gas will incur a reimbursement fee of the price for fuel PLUS a $20 service charge. Per Turo's guidelines, it is the travelers responsibility to fill the tank to the same level it was delivered at. If you pre-purchase refilling at the end of the rental time, then no need to fill the tank. The car takes unleaded gas and must be refilled with the same gas. If the tank is returned excessively empty you will be charged for fuel reimbursement.
  • Returning the car late?
    If you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage. Please note that sometimes a vehicle has back-to-back rentals and can be going out only an hour after it’s returned. Any late return will lead to a late return fee according to Turo regulations.
  • Need to pickup car early?
    Simply log into the app and change your pick-up time. Insurance coverage is only valid during the booked time listed on the app. We kindly ask that if you need to pick up the vehicle early that you go into the TURO app and adjust your rental time accordingly. It’s very easy to do. (TURO does not want us to release a vehicle to a renter unless the rental period has started.) Likewise, if you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage.

This was my first experience using Turo and it was convenient, fun, and easy. Eric was an amazing All-Star host making our trip a user friendly experience. He spent extra time making sure we had everything we needed for our trip, including a phone charger for the car! Truly a wonderful experience. I'll be using Turo for all of my future vacations.
