🔹HOW DO I SUPERCHARGE ?
The intuitive navigation system tells you when and where to supercharge. There are 15+ stations within range radius: Two in Folsom, Roseville, Rocklin, Vacaville, Two in Fairfield, Napa, Concord, Dublin, Yuba City, Chico, Tahoe, and Two in Sacramento to name a few +12! Just plug in and the rest is history!
Option 1: Pick the $29 Prepaid EV recharge Extra for UNLIMITED SUPERCHARGING.
Option 2: Pay per use @ .30 cents a kW a full charge for up to 325 miles is less than $30.
A simple request for reimbursement will be sent after your trip ends if Option 2 is picked.
Please move Taya once fully charged. This will ensure that others can supercharge and avoids Tesla Idle fees of up to $1.00 per minute!
*Idle fees can easily be avoided, as Taya’s center display informs you of the exact minutes needed for a recharge.
*This only applies @ Tesla Superchargers.
🔹IS CHARGING OVERNIGHT NECESSARY ?
It doesn’t hurt to give her a trickle charge with one of the adapters included, although supercharging is typically all you will need! In some cases specifically in colder climates and for normal “sleeping” operations “Taya” discharges anywhere from 1 to 5 miles of range. Not to fret, as she has a capacity for 325 miles!
*110v, 240v “Nema 14-50”, and J1772 adapter are included if you plan on charging @ home, a hotel, or via PlugShare/ChargePoint.
🔹WHAT ABOUT TOLLS ?
It’s simple...Taya has FasTrak embedded in her plates, any FasTrak toll crossings will automatically be deducted from my account.
I will send an invoice at “cost” for reimbursement within 5 business days of trip completion.
🔹WHAT IS PARK N RIDE ?
Don’t have time to find a safe spot to secure your personal vehicle ? No worries, when you pickup Taya, feel free to leave your vehicle in our personal garage/driveway with 24/7 surveillance @ no charge!
*If full, there is plenty of street parking.
🔹WANT A SPECIAL REQUEST/DELIVERY ?
During peak season, typically early April to mid December “Taya”, “T3” our Model 3 w/ Aero Wheels *(https://bit.ly/2B5X2pv) & “Tessa” our Model S w/ Arachnid Wheels *(https://bit.ly/2HkSivu)* will be booking fast!

We will accommodate deliveries outside of our service area mileage, simply book the SMF airport and she will be delivered to the Free Parking/Waiting Lot for your pickup.
🔹DO I NEED TO CHARGE UPON RETURN ?
Nope, just make sure “Taya” has 20% or 60 miles or more upon return.
Purchase the $29 Prepaid EV recharge EXTRA to be exempt.
🔹DO I NEED TO CLEAN ?
INTERIOR: Please keep the interior free of debris, dirt, spills, sharp objects, mud, smoke, etc. A portable vacuum is included.
EXTERIOR: The basic “touchless”, handwash, or self wash stations are all okay.
*No automatic car washes with brushes or that require rollers for Taya to drive on ie Quick Quack, Turbo Shine, etc.
Purchase the $19 Post trip-cleaning EXTRA to be exempt.
🔹Turo Cleaning Policy Reference.
We expect hosts to provide guests with a clean car. In turn, guests must return the car in the same condition in which they received it or as close to clean as possible.
If you return the car significantly dirtier and the host informs us, you may incur a cleaning fee from $30 to $250*, depending on the severity. We suggest taking photos of the inside and outside of the car both at the start and end of the trip and uploading them to the Trip Photos section of the app.
🔹Turo Recharging Policy Reference.
Guests are responsible for fully recharging electric vehicles before returning them. In the case of “Taya”, guests who pick the Prepaid Ev recharge are exempt from the $20 fee for returning with less than 60 miles.
🔹Turo Late Pickup/Return Policy Reference.
A guest will not be charged a late fee if the guest is 29 minutes late or less for pickup/return. In the event of a very substantial lateness, additional fines may be assessed to include cancellation, cost of additional usage
billed by an average of the daily rate including the rental fee and any other applicable fees, and or a late fee of $20 for two hours or more. A request to extend is suggested if a late pickup/return is unavoidable. Flight delays are an exception and granted when the delay is communicated.
🔹Turo Insurance Plans/Damage Reference.
Turo offers multiple insurance plans that vary in price & out of pocket cost, in summary; all plans are supplemental & secondary to your primary insurance if covered, with the exception of the premier plan if applicable, which becomes primary in the event of damage.
🔹Tesla Autopilot Reference.
Autopilot is a driver assistance aid and requires your hands on the steering wheel at all times. Taya will steer, accelerate, & brake automatically for other vehicles and pedestrians within her lane. She will also auto lane change, parallel/perpendicular park, & automatically drive from highway on-ramp to off-ramp including interchanges and overtaking slower cars when prompted.
🔹Tesla Sentry/Dash Cam Mode Reference.
Sentry & Dash Cam Mode are Teslas innovative alarm/recording systems. Once driving or parked & locked, Taya will enter Dash Cam or Sentry mode. If someone or something comes in proximity of Taya while driving or parked & locked, she will automatically start recording via server & usb utilizing some of the Autopilot cameras. Her display may read “X” amount of Sentry Events triggered @ any given time, if there are no overtly obvious issues, you may disregard as she is presumptuously cautious.
