Description

This Black Model S P85D with "Insane Mode" has the 85kWh battery which delivers 0-60 in a neck-breaking 3.1 seconds, which will leave you speechless! It can travel as much as 255 miles of range* coupled with the best AWD on the market. It sports the gorgeous turbine, 21" wheels. The light tan interior is incredibly comfortable, and the black headliner completes a very sleek, classy look. Sports a 17" touch screen, leather seats, and full tech package. The backseat is the exclusive and limited edition "Executive Rear Seating" featuring two bucket seats and a middle divider with cup holders. A/C and Heat vents in the back keep your passengers comfortable. Other options include Autopilot (amazing!), heated seats (front and rear), heated steering wheel, premium sound, panoramic sunroof, and the Premium Upgrade package (ambient lighting, etc.) The car will be charged before pick up. No need to charge before returning it. You can return it "empty". You do not need to wash the car before returning it, unless it's covered in mud or unusually dirty. Do not take the car through an automatic car wash, as those car washes will damage the wheels. This vehicle has free unlimited supercharging. However, customer is responsible for all “idle fees” if you leave the Tesla plugged into a supercharger for more than 5 minutes once the battery has been fully charged. The fee that Tesla charges is 50c-$1/minute. Considering renting a Tesla because you're interested in buying one? Use this link to order your Tesla for free unlimited supercharging for life: http://ts.la/justin8875 *In ideal conditions. "Real range" at standard 90% charge (225 miles) is around 180 miles city/highway combo driving.

Guidelines

--No Pets --No Smoking --Absolutely no street or track racing. This vehicle is to be rented for normal city and highway driving only. --Please enjoy very limited use of full Insane Mode acceleration from a dead stop (stop lights, etc). Flooring the acceleration in Insane Mode significantly wears on the tires, so it is preferred that this type of driving is kept to a minimum (automatic records are kept on battery usage spikes). Additionally, because of the stress it puts on the vehicle, Tesla may permanently reduce the power of my vehicle if it notices a pattern of constant launching from a dead stop. --"Autopilot" does not mean you can turn the feature on and watch a movie on your phone. You still need to pay full attention to the road and your surroundings. --Please avoid opening the "frunk", or front trunk. There is a special way to close it. If you slam it closed, it will cause damage to the hood. --Please do not take the car through an automatic car wash - it will damage the wheels.

https://youtu.be/kLIBYlgsHis https://www.tesla.com/support/model-s-walkthrough Useful tips to prevent charging range anxiety 1. Always assume that the last 50 miles of charge is not there. If the remaining charge shows 200 miles, you should plan on getting to a charger in 150 miles. The displayed range is under ideal conditions - 55 mph on a freeway, at warm temperatures. 2. Take every opportunity to charge at a supercharger. There is no cost to charge at a supercharger. Even if you have 100 miles left when you are near a supercharger, please go ahead and plug it in for a few minutes. It might save anxious moments later. In Raleigh, there is a Supercharger in the North Hills Target parking lot. Please be aware that if you leave the vehicle plugged in for more than 5 minutes AFTER Supercharging has completed, costs will incur to you at a rate of 50c-$1 per minute. The car will notify you how long it will take to fully charge. 3. Never cut it close. If the car runs out of charge, it will have to be towed on a flat bed truck. 4. If no supercharger, where possible, it is preferable to use 220V electrical sockets. These have the NEMA 14-50 or J1772 connectors. They typically charge at 15-25 miles an hour. The 110V chargers will give you just 3 miles an hour. 5. You can use the GPS in the car to find chargers. On a PC or phone, you can use this link: https://www.tesla.com/findus 6. If traveling long distances, use "Range Mode" in the settings, and keep A/C and Heat use to a low setting.

Justin was great to work with! He met us and showed us around the car, walking us through all of the features of his Tesla (there are a lot!). The car itself was great to drive for our road trip and we never had anxiety about running out of power. We needed to extend our trip overnight and Turo made this easy and Justin quickly responded and we were all set. On our next trip to Raleigh, we’ll be looking for Justin and his Tesla again!
