Description

***$25 credit for First Time Turo Users*** Use this referral code to get $25 off! https://turo.com/c/darrena59 Unlimited charging for $9/day with my Blink ‘Charge Card’ extras option at any Blink charging station. Select the Prepaid Refuel for this option. This is a Spark EV, a fun, city friendly, Zero Emission Electric Vehicle. To extend your driving, utilize the charging stations or plug in to a wall adapter to charge with the provided cable (make sure you have permission to charge! Someone pays for that juice!). If you don’t choose the unlimited charging option, I recommend signing up for Blink and downloading their app as well as PlugShare. You can find free and pay stations using GPS. It is cheap and easy to set up. I'll help you with all of the tips you need for driving around this zippy little car.

Parking details

The car will be parked on Ankeny about 1 block off of SE 30th Ave. Please do not park this car on 30th Ave. as it is too heavily trafficked.

Faqs

  • When should I charge the Vehicle?
Follow the ABCs of Charging! Always Be Charging! Don't worry, 88 miles goes a long way in the city, but don't forget that it is best to maintain your charge as full as you can. Always charge overnight if you have access to a plug. If you will be in a parking structure or parking lot that has a pay per kWh charging station (Blink, etc.) take advantage of it to extend your range. The most important thing! Don't Stress too much! 88 miles is more than you think in Portland! Have fun!
  • How can I charge the Vehicle?
There is a wall plug charger included in the car under the trunk mat. You can use this to charge the car using Level 1 Charging wherever there is a wall outlet. You can also use the local Blink brand charging pay stations, often seen at parking structures and grocery stores. This car can charge Level 1 (110v) and Level 2 (220v) charging, for more info please follow this link (https://pluginamerica.org/understanding-electric-vehicle-charging/).
  • How do I extend my range?
Don't jam on the gas! Drive Conservatively if you think you will put the range to the test. The A/C and Heat take energy, but not a ton. The heated seats are more efficient than warming the cabin.
