REQUIRED - Post-trip cleaning: Please avoid automatic washes when possible, the car should be hand-washed only, vacuumed and wiped down to match the condition it left in. I have provided cleaning kits in each car to allow for hand washing, just make a note if you do it yourself so I know to rinse the cleaning cloths. You have the option to do this yourself or you can add the $30 “extra” to have me do it for you. Otherwise a cleaning reimbursement of up to $50 will be applied through Turo once your trip has ended.
Premium (91+) fuel only: 91+ premium fuel required. If your vehicle is not returned full (as it will have gone out full), $20 will be added onto your gas receipt for our time spent refilling the vehicle for the next rental.
Mileage: Please pay attention to your trip’s mileage allowance. You’re more than welcome to use as many additional miles as you desire, but expect to pay Turo’s additional per-mile fee.
No smoking or pets: Evidence of either will result in cleaning fees.
No racing, autocross, HPDE, offroading, etc: Turo prohibits taking rentals off of regular paved roads. You may not, under any circumstances, use this car for racing or dedicated performance driving of any kind. Street use only. Spirited drives are encouraged, but please drive responsibly.
Parking, trees, birds: Please avoid parking under a tree or area where birds might hang out. Tree sap and bird droppings are extremely hard on wax and paint. If either do get to the car, please immediately rinse/spray the affected area with water/hose until it comes off, do NOT wipe off, and just let me know, I can carefully clean afterwards. Fees may be incurred otherwise, particularly if paint is damaged from wiping. If covered overnight parking like a garage or carport is not available, I am happy to provide a car cover for protection at no charge!
Snow/ice/salted roads: Please avoid snowy/icy areas if possible, and if you do pass through them, please wash the vehicle immediately after to get salt off immediately. Any related salt damage to the vehicle will be documented.
Phone chargers: Your vehicle will contain charging cables for Android/iPhone. Please ensure these stay in the vehicle. There are 2 fast-charge USB ports in the cigarette lighter, one of which may be inside the center console.
OBD2 GPS device: All of our vehicles are equipped with OBD2 GPS tracking devices mandated by our insurance provider. It tracks your location/mileage at all times. The device is under the dash/steering wheel, and may protrude slightly. Please exercise care to not damage the device with your feet, particularly when getting in and out of the vehicle. If it comes unplugged for any reason, plug it back in immediately. If the device is damaged, there will be a $300 fee charged.
