Conrad has a beautiful fleet of cars. One more exciting than the other. While originally I opted for one of his other exclusive cars, last moment that car became unavailable due to required maintenance. Conrad took care of the situation and hooked me up with this beautiful quattroporte. The car was a blast, easy to drive and turning a lot of heads. I had my parents over for vacation and having this car provided a 5 star treatment.

I highly recommend that book a trip with Conrad if you expect the following service: 1) No regard to punctuality - This was our experience. - 10:51 am --We were asked to let Conrad know when we landed which we did at this time - 11:38 am --We were then asked to text when we get to the Car Rental Area with our bags which we did at this time - 11:56 am --We were notified by Conrad that he would be there in 10 minutes - 12:20 am --Car arrived without Conrad but another person - This was 1 hour 29 minutes after we notified that we landed; 42 minutes waiting at car rental area and 24 minutes after being told they would be there in 10 minutes - We all have bad days but there was also no service recovery; No apology; No explanation; Nothing - Note: the time from Conrad's business to the car rental area is a 2 minute ride which we witness when returning car 2) No customer service on the pickup and return - no instructions on the use of the car; no review of the cars condition; no prompting to see if we had any questions; not even any small talk - just keys are in the center console and walk off 3) No routine maintenance on the car - car tires were basically bald; the two times that I tried to valet the car even the valet service would not drive the car. The car alert system was constantly flashing maintenance issues from no windshield wiper fluid to most notably brake pads needed maintenance. 4) No routine cleanup between trips - car mats had sand in them which was annoying but livable. However, when we open cup holder, we found whole saltine crackers that had been crushed into the cup holders. It was kind of hard to overlook. We had to get the car interior cleaned ourselves after we found this mess. Otherwise the trip was great ....until we returned the car. Now we are having to pay for damages to the car that we know that did not happen when we were using the car. Lessons learned: - expect to pay for full coverage or expect to pay for all damages including ones that you did not make - take detail pictures of everything including what can be seen from your hands and knees which is where our damage was located. Summary: - Don't rent from Conrad - Turo's business model is a good one but they have a lot of things to work out before they can sustain growth and ensure good customer service and safety.
