Paul, a fake name, began by informing the Turo rep that we would need to arrive no late than 8pm or we would have to pick from a location 25 minutes away. Upon arriving at 7pm per our Reps approval and suggestion, Paul told us to just Uber that distance ($25) and pick up the car or wait til 8. We waited til 8 at which time he stated his driver would be in 15mins(past the point of tardiness for the host(turo guidelines). This continues until the car arrives at 8:50pm. Several attempts were made to negotiate with the host whose response was “so what”. Turo said I can only negotiate with host yet they can and do negotiate and act on behalf of the host and are willing to charge me account on behalf of the host. Review of Turo: That morning another driver whom we had a trip scheduled with let us know that the car was already being rented and that she wasn’t going to take the charge for canceling. Turo then matched us to the terrible terrible host Paul. Turo, your host are a reflection of your values and their actions are yours. With our experience the day before our wedding, missed fireworks, hour late for dinner party with family and friends. You actions state you have no consumer protection policies at all. I am going to write on every fucking reddit post, blog, article about travel and car rental out there and amass a class action full of consumers and the grief, extra payments and fraudulent listings found through out your company. This is the first of our targeted campaign against your company. And you the policy script of “ohhh I’m so sorry that this happened to you.” We don’t forgive We don’t forget, we are legion Expect us. Fuck you company. Fuck this place

The host is very rude and unprofessional. At a pick up, he asked me if I can go to Sun Valley to pick up the car (not a big deal, I simply declined). Then, before the drop off, he messaged me to drop off the car at a parking lot. When I asked him whether someone is going to be there to accept the car or if I should lock the keys in the car (which most hosts prefer), he started being very rude and talking to me as if I was mentally challenged. He got mad that I ASKED if I should lock the keys in the car. I tried to explain that I don’t read minds and simply need instructions on what to do once I get to the parking lot. He continued talking to me as if I was mentally challenged. Also, the car was very dirty at a pick up and was covered in birds poop. It was embarrassing so I had to take it to a car wash. Also, keep in mind that this car doesn’t have registration papers. The host told me to instruct the police to look at the registration sticker on the license plates if they pull me over. I tried to explain that, when the police pulls you over, they always ask for “license and registration”, but no luck. I had to drive for 3 days without registration.

Paul is a really nice guy who was able to accommodate my trip request at the last minute. The car rides well and suited my needs. Thanks!
