I have rented cars from reputable companies maybe 200 times without incident. I have never had a charge for cleaning, nor any claim for parking lot damage or for anything else. We like using Uber so thought trying out Turo might be interesting. When we picked up the car it had much damage down the entire left side (door dings, paint chips, scratches). Dino lamented the fact that he had not claimed the damage caused by previous drivers within the 24 hour period. This made me nervous so I took a few pictures of the left side of the car. We drove the car maybe 250 miles and for the majority of our trip the car was parked at our condo in such a way that no other car could touch it. We may have caused a couple of minor scratches on the rear bumper which we noted in our report to Turo. We were shocked when Dino submitted his pictures and they included the rear bumper scratches BUT ALSO EVERYTHING PRE EXISTING. He even included a picture where the paint came off due to rust bubbling up from under it (13 years of use-nothing to do with us). He is trying to use me to get his entire car repaired!!!! I’m 59, have been driving for 43 years and the last insurance claim I had was in 1979, despite driving more than 40000 miles a year. I maintain my vehicles meticulously and always park to minimize the risk of other cars hitting mine. We have pictures from the start of the trip but due to differences in lighting the damage is not as visible as in the pictures Dino submitted in his attempt to scam me so we aren’t sure how successful we will be in defending ourselves again his fraudulent claims. I would hope to use Turo again but I guess that depends on how this works out.

Had such a great time!! Car was clean, handled great, and ran beautifully... always nice having AWD ino & his wife were so hospitable and giving... sent us out on our vacation with a dozen mangoes from their orchard :D Very progressive, thoughtful, and aware folks... awesome conversation, humbling to know other evolved humans exist! Would definitely rent from these two again :D

This service has ruined our trip. Our extension was not put through. The owner of the car wouldn't answer my messages. I will likely tell everyone to avoid this service. They've kept me on hold for ages trying to sort it out too. I've done everything in my power to sort this out and the customer service has been useless
