I was worried about rent a car using TURO before met Joyce, because I was first time to use TURO. I was rejected to use other person's car the day before, I really was clutching at straws send to her a message at the day. She is reliable and kind person and the car is very comfortable and easy to control. When you'll rent a car in Kihei or Wailea, if you can rent hers car. DO IT.

Forget all the other lame rental cars this is the only ride you'll need in Hawaii

My first time to use Turo and I felt even better that it was a car rental company. All shuttle drivers and staff were incredibly friendly and prompt at answering questions. Shuttle to car lot in Kihei worked out great since we were staying in Kihei. No long lines, no pressure to upgrade or pay for extra stuff. We were able to have multiple drivers no extra charge. A/C worked great and the Sentra did the job with fabulous gas mileage. Don’t hesitate to rent from Kihei Rental Cars! Mahalo❤️

Kihei rent a car was very flexible and very kind throughout our whole trip. They were very good at communication and all of the people that work at the business were relatable and friendly. This Turo car is through a car rental company, and they upgraded our car at pick up, so I’m not reviewing the actual Versa. We were given a Hyundai Elantra with under 8k miles and Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto. Car was clean and drove perfectly. Really happy with the car and rental company overall.

Kihei Rent a Car was awesome! We were running late with the return, since we got stuck in traffic (leave extra time for Route 30 if you’re driving between 4:00 and 6:00 PM), and they were flexible with changing the return time.

Amazing rental, you have to see Maui with this car and drive up the Haleakala Summit ! It is indeed an eye turner, great drive I would just leave it in automatic sport mode, paddle shift aren’t as fast as the automatic gear box that does a great job.

Coolest rental on Maui! Jeeps and camaros and mustangs are waay too common, they’ve lost their charm. Rent a maui beater from Adam and forget about the fancy rental, the Taurus will get you everywhere you want to go.

Shawn was great. He was prompt and arrived on time for pickup and drop off. The car was perfect in my opinion for Maui. All other drop top cars for rental from corporate were double the price. The best was the road to Hana with this fiat. We were able to squeeze into parking spots along the road without any issues, and the best part is the MPG was awesome! Would have spent double or triple had we drove a Jeep but the fiat with the drop top and windows down was perfect. Also, locals thought we were locals so we didn’t get any hassle on the road :).

Miroslav made my trip so easy! Car got great mileage and was perfect for visiting my friends. I’d highly recommend this rental if you plan on driving main roads and going in and out of places like Lahaina and Kihei. I would definitely use this vehicle again!

WOW!!! 5 stars on this rental for the Fiat 300 convertible. One of the best convertible options I’ve ever experienced and THIS is the way to do Maui. The top come down/up in seconds and you don’t have the hassle of having to pull over to wait for it to drop down/up like mine does back home! This is way better. Don’t be fooled by “Bitsy’s” size, she has plenty of room for most beach toys. Shawn and his Ohana were really flexible and amazing to work with. The car made the driving portion of our trip THAT much better. I’ll be requesting this special car again on our next visit back. Thank you Shawn for helping make my wife and my trip even better.

Sam is very nice person. During our Maui vacation he also shared some beach gears that we needed and esspecially kids loved the bodyboards. Only thing that might be a problem is you have to pick up and drop off car to his location. I used Lyft to arrive his location. Maui airport doesn't allow Lyft and Uber cars to pick up passengers from airport. Going to Kihei from OGG is a problem. You may need to choose either Taxi or Shuttle. Drop off was no problem since Lyft and Uber cars can drop you off easily to the OGG airport. It is a gas saver Hybrid car, so you can save gas.

Rental from Terry was perfect! Great communication, flexible, and easy pickup/return. Car worked fantastic for our trip, was clean, ran smoothly, and ideal for traveling on the island. :) would rent from again!

We loved renting this corvette. It was clean, loud and fun to drive. Pickup and drop off in Kihei was fast and easy. There was some initial miscommunication with the rental but Hans made it right and we appreciate that. We had it for an anniversary and it was perfect.

Car was great! Had it for the last day of my trip and was able to fit 4 big suitcases and backpacks in the back. Comfy and roomy car.

From start to end I could not fault this rental!! Hans was quick to respond, easy to communicate with (even though I had an international cell) and has a some seriously cool cars - which on return he was happy to show us through. The Corvette was in exception condition and (compared to local commercial hire companies) is amazing value for money. Great to drive...American muscle! First of all, Jeremiah is a great host, very friendly and helpful. At one point during the trip, I had a problem with the hardtop of the car. He met me at a HomeDepot nearby and quickly solved the problem. The car itself is, in a word, "fun". A couple of caveats: it has 100K+ miles on it, and there are a few signs of the wear and usage. Also, I'm 6'2", and I initially had a hard time fitting into the car. I eventually managed to adjust the seat to fit, and then it was fine. The car drives really well. It has great pickup, handles well (even has a "manual mode"). It's perfect if you want to drive around in Maui with your significant other or buddy, with the top down, soaking in the sun. Absolutely process.

Alex was a great host. Pick and delivery we're very smooth. We actually had trouble with the app our trip wouldn't show up on the dashboard and we needed to extend a couple days. He was very knowledgeable of the process and helped us reinstate a new trip so we were able to extend. Not to mention the Mini Cooper itself is an amazing car, great gas mileage and super fun to drive. Will recommend Alex and Family to anybody wanting a smooth transition getting into a rental!

Angel's Corvette was the best way to explore the island. This was my first Turo experience and Angel was great to communicate with and made it easier than the rental counter. This was my first time to Maui and part of why it was an amazing experience was because of my experience with my Turo rental with Grace and Janelle. Grace, her proxy was flexible in terms of adjusting to my schedule changes. She was patient when I got lost and was very kind when we finally connected. Her warm smile after a frustrating morning was much appreciated. The car was GREAT--I love the VOLT. Great pickup and good mileage. I zipped all around the island. Coordination for pickup was great as Grace was again flexible and kind. Our meet up point was very close to airport and she promptly got me where I needed to be. The best gift of all was the beautiful lei made of iris petals that she gave me as I departed--stunning! I would absolutely rent from her again--and hope to return!

Renting Aaron’s Prius was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Maui. The car drives like a dream and the gas mileage can’t be beat! I highly recommend booking Rob’s Tesla Model S. It was the perfect way to tour Maui! We drove the full loop around West Maui through Lahaina, down south to Kihei and Makena beach, out east Ho’okipa and back to drop the car off all in one charge. No range anxiety, no noise, no emissions, no worries! Would book again!

WOW what a car! Why would you WASTE your money on one of the thousands of Mustangs, Camaros, or Wranglers on Maui when you could rent this? This car was immaculate inside and out. It was fast. It turned heads. We loved every minute of it. So much so-- that we spent less time in our resort and on the beach and more time in this car. We took this car up Haleakala, which has a paved road in fantastic shape. This car was on RAILS as it rounded each corner of Highway 378 (which is entirely hard banked curves and switchbacks). Angel was an AMAZING host. It was my first time renting on Turo, he allowed me to use his phone that had the App already on it so that I could do the "Trip Start". He made the process painless and left nothing to be desired in terms of service to us and in providing an amazingly clean and awesome looking car. If you are going to Maui, you need to rent this car.
