Renting a car with Koa is the best experience you could have while on the island! The car is in great condition, very pleasant to drive and has great mileage (36 mpg average). Koa is awesome, communication is very easy, he’s full of tips for your trip here, everything went perfectly smooth. He also saved our day while we were in light troubles, responding in 10mn at 7am. If I had to rent a car again on turo, I’d love to be it with Koa. Thank you for everything!

FERNS CAR! You are renting more than a 2008 Honda Accord! You are renting a piece of Kauai. This car, a 102k mike 08 Accord is not your average Honda. This is Ferns Car. Plastered with stickers from local surf shops and a scent of Hawaii (good smell) Renting Ferns car will allow you to comfortably go anywhere on Kauai, the radio is loud, the Aux cable works well and there even is an iPhone charger in the car! The car could use a new pair of windshield wiper blades, especially considering the fact that it rains often. There is a slight lack of power on some of the more mountainous parts of the island, but that is expected from most 10 year old cars with over 100k miles. THE BEST PART OF FERNS CAR! On the driver side A pillar, Fern has plastered a sticker that reads #AlwaysDown. This sticker truly embodies what it is like to spend time on Kauai and the mindset that is needed. When contemplating if we should do something, the answer was given to us from Ferns Car. The #AlwaysDown mentality brought with it early mornings and late nights of memories. Thank you Fern. To Anyone thinking about a different car for their trip to Kauai, DONT. You will want Ferns Car for the perfect island experience.

Koa was really easy to communicate with and made renting simple. He was flexible and offered lots of helpful advice for what to do on the island. The car was clean and ran well and gets amazing gas mileage! I definitely recommend renting with Koa.

5 star rating, hands down. We rented Jenn’s Versa Note while she was actually off-island, but she still went out of her way to have her friends help us out with pickup and return! Right at the airport. The convenience was incredible, even better than any other regular rental car service. Seriously this little car was perfect for my wife and I while we explored the island. We averaged 39 MPG the whole trip, the AC is ice cold, the seats fold down, and it’s actually pretty spacious inside and drives very comfortably. Rent from Jenn and you’ll be glad you did!

Our rental was a perfect introduction to an electric car. As a learn-by-doing person this was great for me, meaning, I’m comfortable not knowing at the outset what I’m undertaking, and particularly if the experts are willing to provide guidance. Sonya was accessible, communicative, instructive and patient -perfect.

Loved exploring the island in the Buick! We were worried about having enough space, but our family of 6 (kids ages 6-13) fit comfortably in the car, and the truly giant trunk easily fit all of our luggage from the airport, and then chairs, boogie boards, and other beach toys on our trip. Frank picked us up at the airport and his wife dropped us off for an extra fee. Gas gauge doesn't work so we just stopped to top off the tank every few days. Would definitely choose the Buick again!

This is the perfect car for every island adventure! No need to get a 4x4 vehicle and stick out like a tourist, Simeon’s car is the thing you need. Roof rack, A/C, great MPG, and just small enough to fit in tight places allowing more and ventures to be had. I strongly recommend Simeon’s car if you are ever in Kauai.

Koa is AWESOME! Dropped off the car right at our hotel—easy pickup and return! Highly recommend Koa. He’s a local boy with sound advice. We traveled to Waimea Canyon and and up to Hanalei Bay and only used half of tank in his car. Highly recommend Koa—very responsive texts / flexibility; even offered to extend the use of his car at no charge! Use Koa if you travel to Kauai and want a fuel efficient car—Enjoy!
