Sri’s car was a beautiful ride and he accommodated trip on almost no advance notice because another rental fell through last minute. I would without a doubt rent again. Seamless pickup and return and easy to communicate with.

**PLEASE READ** Extremely bad experience! Here’s what happened. I booked the trip the morning of my flight to Newark & I sent Sri a message on Turo letting him know that I would be there to pickup the vehicle at 11. He responded back and was very communicative as all the other reviews state he is, so I was very excited and confident in my reservation. We texted a bit back and forth throughout the morning after that and he even gave me a call. We spoke on the phone & he asked me a few questions (how far I would be traveling, if I would be going out of state, how many trips would I make back and forth to the city, etc). I answered his questions and everything seem good. During our phone conversation I told him I would be arriving later than the reservation time to pickup the vehicle. He asked me how late and threw out times at me. “4pm? 5pm?” He asked. “Yes, some time around then for sure, idk the exact time however, but I will let you kno 30 mins before I’m heading over” I told him. He said that was fine and told me to “just text me and I’ll have valet get you the car” Fast forward to my arrival at Newark airport, I get my bags from baggage claim and I text Sri on the Turo app to let him know I would be there in 30 mins. When I opened the app this time, it was asking me to review my trip with Sri. I thought that was odd since my trip hadn’t started yet & it was booked for 5 days. I figured that was just a fluke but it did concern me so I called 2 minutes after I texted him on the app. He didn’t answer however so I waited to hear from him After 15 mins I still had no response and my worries grew because prior to this I didn’t have issues with delayed responses with him. Anyways I texted his personal phone and let him know my flight was delayed by an hour but I had made it in town and was on my way over. Again, no response. But earlier when we chatted he gave me instructions on how to get his vehicle so I figured I’d head over & he would get back to me somewhere between me getting an Uber and commuting to his place and everything would be fine. Almost an hour later he communicates back and says “just saw your text, please don’t go, Turo cancelled trip” at this point i was 4 minutes away from his place. I asked him what would he like to do to correct the issue and he told me talk to Turo. I called Turo and was told by the representative that Sri called them and said I was a “no show” and he was the one who actually cancelled the trip! He also told the he agrees to give me partial refund. THE ULTIMATE DOUBLE CROSS! He KNEW I was going to be late, told me it was fine, just to pull a fast one on me. He called them 2 hours after the reservation time to say I was a no show. TWO HOURS. Again, I want to remind you that I specifically told him how late I was going to be over the phone and there were no issues. I believe the moment I told him how late I would be he immediately saw that as an opportunity to cash in on it. THIS GUY IS A SNAKE!! Again, he saw an opportunity to make a quick dollar without actually having to rent his car out and he capitalized on it. The worst part is that I didn’t get him saying it was ok to be late via text. MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING IF YOU DEAL WITH HIM!!!! Now I’m dealing with Turo trying to get a full refund & it’s just a complete nightmare. This app is NOT very consumer conscious. they do not favor the customer at all. I let them know of my experience and I’m fighting with them to issue me a full refund as I was lied to. I feel completely swindled.

This was an amazing ride. The car is beautiful inside and out. Sri was amazing and well coordinated. Id recommend him to anybody. Would definitely rent again when I come back to new york.
