Faqs

  • Does you car have good pickup/acceleration?
Yes! you will be pleasantly surprised to see how nimble and zippy this car is inspite of being electric. Of course, it comes at the cost of the range.
  • How do I charge your electric car?
You can charge my car at any of the public charging stations that you can look up using apps like Chargepoint or Blink. (I have both these apps, so I can help look up charging stations in your area, and even remotely start charging for you - you just pay for the charging costs at the end of the trip) Also, I will provide you with a charging cable that you can connect to any 110V outlet (consumption is about 1.4 kW/hr). Make sure the location is secure; if the charging cable is stolen you will be responsible for it.
  • Will I get range anxiety when driving your car?
Range anxiety is certainly possible and can happen, but with a little bit of route planning and conservative driving (look ahead to minimize braking, accelerate gradually, use cruise control, stay at 60-65 mph on highway).
  • So how much can I expect to drive with the car fully charged? And how long it takes to charge the car back from almost empty?
Good questions! So the range of the car depends on factors like weather (cold weather = less range), driving habits (rapid acceleration/braking = less range), type of driving (highway speeds = less range), etc. Overall I have managed to get anywhere from 45 to 75 miles before I need to charge it. To charge it from near empty to full takes about 24 hrs on a 110V connection, but on public chargers like Chargepoint, it is about 7-8 hrs.

As for a repeat customer, Sameer was courteous enough to drop cat in Airport and provision drop after car return. Charging was hassle free and one full night gave around 60 miles of range. Car smelled nice and interiors were clean. Will recommend his car(s) for anyone travelling business. Long term rentals work better as they earn you discounts.

The whole experience was great! Sameer was very friendly and helpful. The full electric car was a great experience and fun to drive. Good for running around town.
