It was a group of ladies so we rented two cars from his location. He didn’t have the cars ready when we arrived. We sat there an extra 30 mins for him to change the oil. Not to mention the car I rented out had a burning smell the whole weekend due to him spilling oil on the engine. The car wasn’t clean and it was on 1/8 of gas. When I returned the car it was on a half a tank and he charged me $50 for a cleaning fee. Being professional I believe he should’ve took some of the money off of the cleaning fee since I returned the car with more gas then he sent me out with. I’ve used Turo before and never had these problems. I always let them take the cleaning fee out but not $50 from him when the car wasn’t clean to begin with.

Dalili is a nice person and was trying his best but there were some problems with this vehicle. We noticed right away that the air conditioning was not keeping up with the Houston heat, so we were literally sweating anytime we would drive the car around during the day. At night it would sometimes get cool enough sometimes not, and this is only April. A little over a week into our reservation we noticed a burning oil smell and white smoke from under the hood. Dalili told us to go ahead and call roadside assistance and get a tow back to his location. This was on our wedding day so I as the groom had to take several Lyft's and uber's around the city to bring the keys back to the location of the turo car, pick up my suit, get lunch, and go to my wedding venue. It added a lot of stress not having the car and for that reason I will likely never use turo again. It ended up costing me much more than a normal rental car because of the ride shares I had to use after turo car broke down. And a normal rental car is very unlikely to break down at all.
