Otherwise, $20 dollars will be charged) (Child Car seat is available, it will be extra $10 to rent per day)

  • What if there is damage to the vehicle or I get into an accident?
    Please notify us of any damage or accidents that happen during your rental. We appreciate your honesty and will work with you to solve the problem.
  • Returning a car late?
    If you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage. Please note that sometimes a vehicle has back-to-back rentals and can be going out only an hour after it’s returned. Any late return will lead to a late return fee according to Turo regulations.
  • Can I let someone else drive the car?
    Only the person who rents the car is insured to drive the vehicle. If you expect that someone else might drive the vehicle, simply upload their valid driver license to the TURO app. It’s very easy to do. Unfortunately, failure to do this will cause insurance to be void, and you will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage.
  • Need to pick up the car early?
    Simply log into the app and change your pick-up time. Insurance coverage is only valid during the booked time listed on the app. We kindly ask that if you need to pick up the vehicle early that you go into the TURO app and adjust your rental time accordingly. It’s very easy to do. (TURO does not want us to release a vehicle to a renter unless the rental period has started.) Likewise, if you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage.

The AC doesn’t work 100% of the time. It was a hot day unfortunately. This almost made me not use the car at all when I picked it up, but I was in a hurry and didn’t want to pay more by renting a car at the airport. The key also doesn’t work on driver side door. So when you lock the car you have to unlock the passenger side and reach across. To be frank the inside was filthy. It had an overused steering wheel cover that I refused to use. It was dirty and crusty looking. I removed it and placed aside. I wiped down the steering wheel and handles with antibacterial wipes due to caked on grim just so I could use the vehicle. The floor looked like it wasn’t vacuumed in months with visible dried broken up mud, a bit of grass. Outside was just as dirty and had bird poop everywhere and the nerve to be asked to returned washed when it wasn’t even given clean for my trip. I feel bad to say this part since Peng’s communication and price was satisfactory, but I was embarrassed at times of the car based on its appearance. I know I chose it based on price and I only used it for a couple errands but I didn’t see the condition when I booked it; so I gave 3 stars. It was my first time using Turo and its unfortunate that others don’t leave things in a good-better condition for the next person. I don’t think I’ll be using this car again, but I’ll give Turo one more try.

Unfortunately, I have to give this trip a bad review (as much as I really don't want to). The car battery was dead and the car wouldn't start upon pickup. I had to call Turo and have them contact a mechanic to jump-start the car. That was a waste of my time. I also had to buy coolant for the vehicle because the reservoir was almost completely empty. That makes the vehicle unsafe to drive. Aside from those major problems, the outside of the car was filthy and the inside had not been cleaned very well. I washed the car myself. These issues may very well be the fault of the previous guest/driver, but it is the owner's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is ready for the next guest. Please take this as a lesson learned. Thank you and good luck.

When the key got stuck in the ignition and I called Peng for help he told me to “look around and ask a man for help” -Key gets stuck in ignition so you cannot turn car on or off -No Aux outlet -Charging outlet does not work If you happen to get stuck or something happens you are on your own.

This is not the car in the pictures. I showed up to get the car and the first things I noticed is that there are no hubcaps on this vehicle, there are large dents all over and rust stains. Once I got inside the car I noticed that there were dirty footprints on the backseat and the passenger's side dashboard. The A/C does not work when it's hot out (so most of the day), the auxiliary outlet to plug a phone charger in doesn't work, the windshield wipers are in need of repair (I could barely see out the windshield during heavy rain) and you can't unlock the driver's side door with the key. You have to unlock the vehicle from the passenger's side. I messaged the owner immediately, twice, and didn't hear back until early in the morning the day of that I needed to return after a 5 day rental. This car is unacceptable and this is the second time that I've rented a car from Turo that is not worth the money. I will hesitate using Turo again. There needs to be accountability here. I spent $27/ day, plus fees to rent this unacceptable car. I could have rented a brand new vehicle, for the same price, from the airport!
