-The electric car can drive in a HOV lane regardless number of passengers.
-Free parking at the airport
-Free parking at the state or county authority meter parking (up to 2.5 hours or the maximum time allowed to park, whichever is longer)

Car!!! This car can go up to 130 miles per full charge (based on your driving habit). It takes about 30 minutes to recharge the depleted battery up to 80 percent at quick charge station (level 3), about 4-6 hours at level 2 (240 volt power source), and about 21 hours at level 1 (110 volt).
This 2016 SL Nissan Leaf comes with a 360 degree rearview parking camera, front camera, Bluetooth wireless communication, heated front and rear leather seats, alloy wheels, a navigation system, hands-free text messaging and voice-activated destination entry, seven-speaker Bose sound system, quick-charge capability, as well as LED low-beam headlamps, fog lamps, a solar-panel spoiler, a cargo cover, and a garage-door opener. It includes a new 'B-Mode' that recharge the battery when braking and going down hill
Check the traffic before you leave. Traffic is bad in Honolulu at certain times of the day. You don’t want to get stuck in traffic and running out of battery.
To achieve the greatest range keep the the AC and cruise control OFF (enjoy Hawaiian fresh air whenever you can;)). Shift to B mode when driving in the city
Try to not go lower than 30% to recharge the vehicle
“Low Battery Warning” occur when you have about 18% or 8-15 miles left (depending how fast you’re going, terrain, etc.).
“Very Low Battery Warning” happens when you have 9% or about 6 miles left
“Turtle Mode” is when you have about 5 miles
Don’t panic when you have a Low Battery Warning, slow down, put on the emergency lights, turn off the AC (save you 5-10 miles) and pull to the safe spot, navigate the nearest charging station. Or if the car is completely out of battery, call Turo Road Side Assistance or call me, I’ll have AAA come to get you to the near charging station
There're plenty charging stations across Oahu: All Nissan dealers (free) , Ala Moana Mall (in front of Genki Sushi and Ala Moana Blvd. side - free), Hawaiian Electric company parking lots on Ward Ave. (fee-based), International Market Place level 4 parking (free), Honolulu Zoo (fee-based), Honolulu Airport Parking ($7/24 hours), hotels, shopping centers, City and County or public parking lots...just to name a few.
