The host for this car will be available by cell phone or text to answer questions on vehicle charging, vehicle performance and charging locations. Travelers that deplete the high voltage battery while in transit will be responsible for contacting Turo to have the car towed to nearest charging station (up to 15 miles) and the traveler will be responsible for all other expenses related to time delays due to depleted battery.
When going to an unfamiliar public charging station CALL FIRST!!! Don't expect the station to be functioning or usable just because the station is listed on a website or app. Find out from the station operator if the charger has an EV Plug (not Tesla plug) or a CHAdeMO plug, if the charger is functioning and what the billing options for the charger are before proceeding to the station.
