The 2014 Ford Fiesta is a subcompact car offered in sedan and hatchback body styles, and it seats five passengers. Front-wheel drive is standard, and the Fiesta is sold in S, SE, Titanium, and ST trims.
For 2014, the Fiesta adds the high-performance ST trim to its lineup. A new three-cylinder power plant joins the Fiesta’s range of engines, and the model adds a new MyFord Touch infotainment interface.
A sporty front end, with long headlight cases and similarly shaped fog-light pockets, are standard for both Fiesta sedans and hatchbacks. The car’s profile features deep character lines that sit just below the beltline, and they give the Fiesta a sculpted look.
Base models are equipped with quad-beam halogen headlamps, body-colored door handles, 15-inch wheels, a capless fuel-fill system and power-adjustable side mirrors. The front seats are comfortable, but the back seats will be a tight fit for most adults. With the Fiesta sedan, you get a trunk with 12.8 cubic feet of storage space. The hatchback has up to 14.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind its rear seats, and this expands to 25.4 cubic feet with the back seats folded.

ST models add aluminum pedal covers and sport seats with the ST logo.
Ford’s Fiesta delivers engaging handling at all trim levels, and ST models provide a high-performance driving experience. Three transmissions are offered: a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic. Power is sent to the rear wheels.
Buyers have a choice of three engines. The standard 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine is naturally aspirated and produces 120 horsepower and 112 pound-feet of torque. The Fiesta ST gets a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet of torque.
The Fiesta achieves EPA ratings of up to 31/41 mpg city/highway.
