The car was great and got us around efficiently. Especially good size for parallel parking in the city! The volume knob on the radio is a little touchy and the USB port didn’t like my charging cord, but otherwise a great trip!

Car was great, thanks.

Adiy was easy to work with! Took my last minute request and car was clean! For drop off he was there to greet me and was very nice!

Adiy’s car worked perfectly for my trip after my previous reservation was canceled last minute. Was flexible with pickup/drop off. Would reserve again!

We booked the vehicle a little late, and I can give Adiy a bit of credit for having it ready as a last minute pickup when we needed it. Though when I called Adiy, it seemed a bit confusing on where and when he wanted us to meet him. I realized he was dealing with several vehicles and found a central location for pickups and delivery. He has his operation working out of an Autozone parking lot. When we got there, Adiy wasn't around. We sat in the AutoZone parking lot with our bags for about half an hour when he said he was "about 10 minutes away." The wait wasn't that much of a problem since we didn't have to be at our itinerary's first location for another few hours. When Adiy arrived, the vehicle smelled like smoke. The smoke smell was so thick it felt as if Adiy smoked in the car just before we picked it up, but I don't believe he did. The smoke was disgusting and annoying. But I've lived with smokers, so it wasn't ideal, but we decided to deal with it. I asked him about the smoke; he insisted they were "non-smoking vehicles." From what I assume, his garage is inside of Tommy Chong, or Snoop Dogg's lung. I was now afraid I was going to get popped for a smoking fee when neither my wife or I smoke. Unless my kids smoke and they're secretly hiding their smoking addiction from us. But I'm going to have to assume that's not true since they're only four and seven-year-olds. Oh, and they weren't with us on the trip. But, once we held our breath and got into the vehicle, we decided to drive down the road to have lunch at a nearby restaurant. We ate, then got right back into the car. To our surprise, the car would not start up again. We called Adiy, and he immediately came by and attempted to replace the battery. After about an hour or so waiting for a "quick" battery change, he offered to give us another vehicle. Which was still smoky, it only smelled less like smoke, more like the way a patio of a local microbrew might detect. This smoke was along with the subtle scent of dog urine lingering in the air. Seriously, it smelled like dog pee too. Granted, I was much happier because it wasn't as overwhelming as the first vehicle. We went on our trip, and things smoothed out tremendously. Then the night before our dropoff I got a call from Adiy asking where we were. He was confused on what night dropoff was, and was waiting for us at the exchange location a day early. He then offered to deliver us to the airport the next day for the trouble. When we finally got to the Autozone the next day at the appropriate exchange time, he wasn't there. We called him since we were at risk of running late to the airport. He said he was about "10 minutes away," he suggested if we're running late, we should call an Uber or Lyft and leave the keys with the employee at the Autozone since they know about his Turo gig. I walked in, talked to the first employee; he had no idea what I was saying. As my uber was pulling up outside, I was frantic to leave Adiy's keys with someone who knew what I was talking about, so I started to seek other employees in the store. I found a guy near the back working with a customer; I quickly interjected when they had a break in their conversation, and he knew what I was talking about as my wife was calling for me from outside. I left the keys and left. Overall, I believe most of the problems were out of Adiy's hands, but I didn't expect to jump as many hoops as I did for my first attempt as a Turo customer. I've rented my vehicles out many times to many Turo customers, and this experience has made me open my eyes to the risk customers take when borrowing from within the Turo community. I don't want to give any other Turo customer the same experience I had.
