Guidelines

Renting with Ran-Tranz When you get the vehicle, please take photos before and after your trip and upload them. ***If you don't do so and we notice any damage on the vehicle it automatically becomes your fault. Please return the vehicle with the same amount of gas as you received it or you will be subjected to a fee. In addition, return the vehicle at the same spot or if not available within 1 mile of pick up. Return the vehicle at or before your trip's end time. (If you need an extension please request it through the app to avoid any additional charges.) - If you receive any tickets or tolls during your trip please pay them immediately. If we receive a ticket in the mail that occurred during your trip you will be charged an additional $25 processing fee in addition to the ticket cost. - Smoking/eating in the vehicle will result in a flat $150 cleaning fee.

Overall a great experience, would rent from Robert again, just make sure to communicate

The car would have gotten a 4 star easily if it were just vacuumed and cleaned up a bit. It was pretty gross, we ended up cleaning it a bit before even sitting in it. The engine made a weird noise and the back speakers were broken. If you’re looking for a cheap ride this is the car for you, but if you’re expecting cleanliness and a comfortable ride, I’d reconsider.

Robert was a very great communicator and responded quite fast. However, the car was a lot more manual than I expected (the side mirrors had to be adjusted manually with a twisting knob from inside), the hardest is when you sit on the driver seat trying to adjust the passenger view. The car was trashed (according to the owner, was from the previous renter). And the back trunk when you open and close it, its almost like it’s falling apart. The accelerator makes quite a sound when you pressed on the gas.

Communication was terrible. Couldn’t find the pickup location and had issues with the car but the owner wouldn’t respond. The windshield wipers were completely dull and given it was raining during the entire rental period, it made for unsafe conditions

I was disappointed by the lack of instruction while picking up the car and the quality of the car. There were no clear instructions on how to obtain the keys to the car, so I called and was told to submit the photos of the car, and it would unlock automatically. After that didn’t work and I called back, I was sent to voicemail and had to call another number for someone else to unlock the car remotely. This wasted about 20 minutes of time. The quality of the car was so poor that I didn’t feel safe driving it. There was a strange noise coming from the front of the car and the headlights didn’t work. Another driver stopped me in the middle of the city because the headlights were so dim. I had to turn on the brights just to see in front of the car and drove with the brights on for 2 hours. It was clear that the car hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and is desperately in need of maintenance. I would not recommend solely because it was such a hassle to get access to the vehicle and I didn’t feel safe driving it.
