when in Charleston, James is the man. his Sebring convertible is fun and drives wonderfully. car is spotless and in great condition. James is great to work with. i will never rent a car in Charleston from the big guys - no need. pick-up & drop-off was seemless. as we laughed, "have a great trip - I hope I don't see or hear from you until drop-off."

Renting Kevin’s car was so convenient and a great affordable option compared to car rental companies. He is great to communicate with. The car met our expectations. We’re satisfied enough to rent from him again tomorrow!

Dustin and Lindsay were extremely easy to work with and very accommodating, it felt like picking up a car from a family member. I will absolutely use them in the future for my car rental needs.

This was my first trip using Turo. Michael is excellent he was able to accommodate getting the car to the airport at 1am in the morning when all the rental cars were closed. He was quick to respond to any of my questions and even went out of his way to assist me. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. I recommend renting from Michael if I'm in southern California again he is the first person I will reach out to.

Kevin was able to accommodate our VERY last minute request. Very convenient if you’re staying in downtown Charleston and want to take a day trip somewhere (we went to the Magnolia Plantation) but don’t want to rent a car for your entire stay. Kevin was responsive and all of the instructions for pick-up and drop-off we’re clear. There is a gas station right next to the drop off location which was very helpful when filling up. My first Turo car rental experience and it was great! Just needed a reliable car with working air conditioner and this older Camry delivered. Smaller than newer models (limited head room) but I expected that. Arnold was prompt and gave clear instructions on how to drop car at airport.

Ben was a great host and has an amazing car. If you’re in Charleston and want to rent a car, this is the one! This was my first time using Turo but Ben made it super easy with reliable communications and a flexible drop-off time.

Kevin runs a pretty solid operation. Didn’t really think to rent a car until we got down to Charleston. His car was available and he provided detailed step by step directions to make my first turo experience flawless. His car runs great and we used it to do some plantations and go to Folly beach. Perfect addition to all the things we wanted to do while on vacation. He is always available for reach fore if you have any questions. This car was amazing! Working with Shawn was a breeze. This was the easiest way to rent a car. Definitely will be renting from her again. This car was flawless. Clean. In a great/neat pickup location. Instructions were easy! Only bad thing is that I couldn’t keep it longer! You will enjoy working with Shawn.

Josh was super accommodating, really down to earth! This car is amazingly fun and has all the modern amenities to make it comfortable. It’s a really stunning car that grabs the eye - your girlfriend will have no problem showing up to one Charleston’s best restaurants in this car.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a cheap and reliable vehicle to evacuate Charleston due to hurricane Florence. We reserved the vehicle for 1 pm, but due to traffic we were not able to pick it up until 3. This was of no issue to Kevin. During our trip we decided that it would be best that we stay away from Charleston an extra day, and Kevin was very flexible and understanding with us. All-in-all his flexibility allowed for a smooth evacuation, and I would certainly rent from him again.

I will definitely be using Turo rather than dealing with a rental car moving forward in my trips! Renting Kevin's car was awesome because of his flexibility and communication. I knew that I was going to go over the mileage listed for his vehicle and when I requested additional mileage, he suggested the cheaper option of renting the vehicle for one more day rather than charging for additional mileage. We enjoyed his Ford Fusion; the tinted windows were a plus for the Carolina heat and the instructions to get in the vehicle were easy to follow. We had no problems whatsoever and will definitely seek out Kevin when we visit South Carolina next year!

I was so relieved to find this zippy green fuel efficient car last minute for my road trip from Charleston, SC to Jacksonville, FL. I even named the car the GREEN BEE after my little brother’s blanket that he still has now 40 years later so it was fitting that we were celebrating his 40th birthday. James was there from pick up to drop off to answer any questions about the car and logistics of renting a car from Turo vs. a rental car company. The car arrived clean with extra touches such as a basket of car charging accessories which I had totally forgot to pack. James was super responsive to messages and forgiving of all the beach sand and leaves we left behind. However, Turo is not like a rental car company in that you do need to return the car clean. I will definitely use Turo again for my next trip!

This was our first time using Turo and Nic made the experience so easy and great! A great car for a great town! The car was supremely comfortable to ride around in, even when the roads around Charleston were terribly bumpy and full of traffic, which was always. Ben was wonderful to work with, and made everything far easier than we I imagined it would be. If given the option, we are going to continue trying to rent this car from Ben on all of our future trips to Charleston.

This car was perfect for our trip. It’s clean, comfortable, gets amazing gas mileage and the pick up and drop off were smooth, easy and friendly. Car has USB port for phone charging, push to start, a spacious trunk and excellent air conditioning. I would definitely rent this car again for my next trip to Charleston.

Michael went above and beyond! He communicated well and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we missed our flight to Charleston following an accident on our commute. Michael was very understanding of the delay and not only had the car ready for us when we arrived 4 hours later, but he was also flexible in allowing us to use the car for the full 24 hours we had already paid for at his suggestion. He briefly checked in with us at the beginning and end of our rental to ensure things went smoothly. If you’re hesitant about Turo I highly recommend Michael for an incredible experience, you won’t regret it!

Harvey and his Kia Soul were really great. Perfect car to zip around Charleston and it's various islands, Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head. Super cold a/c, but radio was a little weak. Super nice person and would rent from again!

This was my first time renting a car through Turo. If every experience can be like this one, I will want to do it more. Jeanette was very communicative and was willing to be flexible with the pickup time even when our flight was due into Charleston in the middle of the night. It was super easy finding the car and dropping it off at Charleston airport. When we had a few questions pop up towards the end of our trip, Nic responded very quickly. The Mini Cooper was fantastic and fun to drive around Charleston. It was also very nice and easy to park on city streets or in “small car” spaces in public ramps. Surprising amount of storage for two people between the trunk and back seat. Would highly recommend Nic’s car for your travels!

What a wonderful experience. Took care of a childhood dream of driving a Corvette. Scale of 1 to 10 it was a 10. I’ll be back.

First off I was a little scared to try out Turo. I didn’t know if it was legit or not. Then I found Kevin’s car and decided to take it for a try. I got it booked and paid for and was still unsure. The day I went to get it it was nice and clean and following all his instructions I was able to get the car and enjoy it! I even got it for a extra day. Paid of course! Reading some of the reviews it looks like some people expected a little to much. This car isn’t new and it isn’t old. Normal ware and tear. It rides smooth and everything works pretty well. The wheels on this car was my favorite. It stood out a lot. Kevin was great with communication and understanding. Everything positive you read on here you can best Believe it’s true. Definitely a first time Turo user and will be using Kevin again very soon! I recommend Renting from Kev!
