  • Who can drive the car?
    Only the person who is registered and rents the car can drive it because that's the person who is insured to drive. If you need someone else to drive, please upload their driver license to the TURO app. Failure to do this will cause insurance to be void, and you will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage.
  • Returning car late?
    If you need to return a car late, you must call ahead of time and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901. This is so that you are covered with the insurance. If vehicle has back-to-back booking any late return will lead to a late return fee according to TURO regulations.
  • Vehicle Pick-ups and Drop-offs after hours?
    Contact us during booking and we can arrange after-hours workaround so that it fits your needs.
  • Vehicle damage or car accident?
    Please notify us as soon as possible, we will work with you and TURO to resolve the issues. Your honesty is much appreciated.
  • Trips outside of US?
    TUROs insurance only covers vehicles in the USA. Do not drive to Mexico or Canada because you won't be covered under the insurance.
  • Earlier pickup required?
    Please adjust time of pickup in the TURO app so that you are covered under the insurance policy. This is required by TURO regulations.
