How do I charge it if I drive on a long trip?
You literally program your way using the navigation by pressing a button and saying "Drive to *AddressOrPlace*". The navigation routes you through the chargers. you LITERALLY can't miss a charger. In about 30 minutes you get about 170 miles of range out of the SuperCharger. Road Trips are made much easier with a break every couple hours.
How to the rear seats work?
This car is equipped with Tesla's 3rd row seats. Rear facing like the station wagons of old, except these are reinforced with an additional high strength boron steel bumper reinforcement. Our kids ride in them exclusively.
How long does it take to charge?
There are multiple ways to charge, even a little 110 15 amp outlet will charge the car, though the larger the plug the faster the charge:
110 15 amp: 3 miles per hour, or about 36 miles overnight (12 hours)
110 20 amp: 4 miles per hour, or about 48 miles overnight (12 hours)
220 40 amp: 26 miles per hour, or 7-9 hours for a full charge.
