Rules and Fees By booking this car you agree to our guidelines. You also agree to the Terms and Conditions required by our insurance company: goo.gl/52UMCN We carry our own commercial insurance. Therefore, Turo does not offer liability insurance for you to purchase on our cars. Our insurance requires proof that you are insured. In the terms and conditions it indicates that you are responsible for all damage to the car on the trip. Make sure your insurance company covers you for rental cars so that you are not paying out of pocket for anything that may occur. We can sell renters collision protection for $25 per day if you need insurance. It covers you for up to $20,000 in damage and has a $250 deductible. For your safety and peace of mind there is a card for 24 hour emergency roadside assistance in the glove box. Encore: 877-272-1678. They will need the unique number on the card for this car. This will help you with any issues such as running out of fuel, a flat tire, or if you lock the keys in the car. Feel free to use the toll roads. There is no processing fee for using the toll roads. We go through the toll list weekly and request any tolls that have posted. We will charge you the cost of any tolls if you use the toll roads. Note our fee schedule on our listing for excessive cleaning charges. We hope to keep your trip as smooth and efficient as possible by offering these extra features. Please no pets or smoking in the car. Note fees below. Disclosures: Late Return Fee: $40/hour, up to $160 Additional Mileage Fees: $0.20 per mile per additional mile driven over the limit. Basic Cleaning: A light wash and vacuum is included. This includes washing, vacuuming and wiping down hard surfaces in the car. Your trip includes up to 30 minutes to take care of these items. Extra cleaning: Excessively dirty cars that require over 30 minutes of cleaning, steam cleaning of stains, or excessive cleaning of bugs will be charged at $15 per hour. Cleaning, Pet, or Smoking fees: Minimum $50 and up to $250. Toll Fees: Cost of tolls only Refueling: $5 + cost of fuel Ticket Fees: $25 + cost of tickets Renter's Collision Protection is available at $25 per day in advance. Additional Liability Insurance available at $15 per day in advance. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a valid drivers license. Additional Drivers must be added to the rental in order for them to be eligible to drive. Car may not be used for ride sharing. Car must remain on a paved road at all times. You are responsible for all loss of theft of, or damage to, the Vehicle and others, which includes the cost of repair, or the actual cash retail value of the Vehicle on the date of the loss if the Vehicle is not repairable or if we elect not to repair the vehicle, plus loss of use, diminished value of the Vehicle caused by damage to it or repair of it, and our administrative expenses incurred processing the claim. You must report all accident or incidents of theft and vandalism to us and the police as soon as you discover them. "INSURANCE. customer agrees to maintain automobile insurance during the term of this rental agreement, providing the owner, the renter, and any other person using or operating the rental vehicle with the following primary coverage: a. Bodily injury and property damage liability coverage; b. Personal injury protection, no-fault, or similar coverage where required; c. Uninsured / underinsured coverage where required, and d. Comprehensive and collision damage coverage extending to the rental vehicle. Customer’s insurance will provide at least the minimum limits of coverage required by the financial responsibility laws of the state where the loss occurs. Because the customer is providing automobile insurance, we are not. In states where the law requires us to provide insurance we will provide excess insurance only, up to the minimum limits required by the financial responsibility laws. The customer’s insurance will be primary. Any insurance we are required to provide applies to claims of bodily injury and property damage only and is secondary to any other valid and collectable insurance whether it is primary, secondary, excess, or contingent. Our policy contains exclusions, conditions, and limitations applicable to anyone claiming coverage. Customer agrees to cooperate with our insurer if any claim is made. Our insurance applies only in the United States. Where permitted by law, customer rejects uninsured, underinsured, supplemental, personal injury protection, and no-fault coverage. Where we are required to provide such coverage, renter is afforded the minimum limits required by law. Any breach of this agreement will void any insurance coverage." Insurance options: 1) You must either carry insurance that covers you for a rental car or purchase renters collision protection. Please provide us with your insurance company name and policy number prior to the rental. 2) Renter's Collision Protection In the event of an accident, you are responsible for any damage to our vehicle, regardless of fault. For $25 per day, you can purchase rental collision protection which will pay for any damage to our vehicle, over $250.00 as long as you do not violate the agreement. This was my first time using Turo. Bradley was super responsive and flexible when I needed to update my schedule with the car. The car was zippy and perfect for getting around the city. The size makes it easy to fit into any parking spot or parallel park if needed. I had really easy communication with Bradley and I would happily rent from him again.
