*No smoking (cigarette, vaping, etc.) is allowed in the vehicle. Any evidence of smoking (cigarette, vaping, etc.) or pets will result in Turo’s fee to detail the vehicle ($150).
*Cleaning Policy: Please return the vehicle in the same clean condition it will be in when you initially pick it up. Turo’s Cleaning Fee of up to $250 will be charged if the vehicle is not returned in the same clean condition as during pickup. They have a realistic sliding scale for cleaning, and the link is below.
*My vehicle should be returned in the same condition as it was when you received it. If the vehicle is significantly dirtier than it was on check out, you will be charged a cleaning fee per Turo of up to $250. Smoking and Pets are strictly prohibited in all vehicles and you will be fined through Turo. Also, late returns are absolutely not accepted. If you pick up the vehicle late that's usually not a problem for me as long as you let me know you're running behind, however picking up late DOES NOT mean you can return the vehicle late. The vehicle is due back no later than the listed Turo time (This is to protect you as Turo’s insurance is valid during the rental periods only). *Rarely depending on scheduling we may be unable to meet you at the start or end of your trip. We use a lockbox to protect both of us. The vehicle keys will be inside the lockbox, and we will send you the lockbox code just prior to the start time of your reservation (typically 10 minutes prior to give you time to take pictures of the exterior/interior and mileage/gas level prior to starting your trip). You will need to do the following in order to get the lockbox code prior to the start of your reservation: Use your phone to take a picture of your driver license and another picture of it holding it next to your face. You will upload both pictures to the Trip Photos section in the main booking page when you scroll down. Please note that the driver license information must be easily read in the picture. Please let me know when this is complete. I will confirm that your driver’s license matches your Turo account and send you the lock box code.
*Gas Refill Policy: Please note the gas gauge when you pick up the vehicle and return the vehicle with the same amount. If you are not able or don’t want to add the gas, we will fill it up for you, but charge $15 per quarter tank. That means a maximum charge of $60. “If Turo manually processes the reimbursement, an administrative fee of $25 will be added to the guest’s cost.” If you just want us to fill it for you, do your Post-trip photos showing the gas gauge and text us stating the amount you agree to, saving both of us the hassle of having to involve Turo manually processing the claim, and Turo tacking on the $25 admin fee.
