Consider booking out of our location to save money on the airport delivery fee. Check out these sites to plan your charging: https://www.tesla.com/trips https://www.plugshare.com/ Tesla is now charging for Idle fees at Superchargers. If you choose to use the Supercharging and do not take it off the charger once it is completely charged there may be a fee. Fees for this are up to $1 per minute and will get passed on to you. Recharging prior to return: We offer a prepaid recharge for $39. If you pay for this and bring it back to us at 15% or higher there is no additional payment required. If you bring it back to us under 30 miles of range or 15% we will charge an additional $29 as a very low state of charge limits our ability to quickly turn around cars for the next rental. If you do not purchase a prepaid recharge we will charge you for recharging as follows: 80%+ or where you received it: NO FEE 60-80%: $29 15-60% - $59 Under 15%: $89 NOTE: We work very hard to keep our batteries above 80% and preferably all the way to 90% in advance of all of our rentals. However, during peak times we have some short-arounds on rentals that can make this difficult, especially when a prior renter is late in returning. In the event we provide the car to you under 70% we will not charge you for recharge as long as you return it with more than 15% as a token of apology for not being able to provide it at a near full state of charge. If returned under 15% we will charge $29. Cleaning Fee: We offer a pre-paid cleaning Extra for $29. We typically utilize a third party to clean the cars and we pay them. If you choose not to pay for the pre-paid cleaning and return the car dirty to where it requires more than a very light touch up we will charge a $49 fee to clean it in preparation for our next rental. NOTE: In the VERY unlikely event we are unable to clean it prior to your rental you will not be charged a fee and we would be happy to reimburse you for your cleaning extra if you prepaid it upon your request. Absolutely no smoking or pets of any kind (including vape pens). The remote smell of any smoke or pets will result in a $500 fee to compensate me for having to take it off Turo to have it professionally cleaned an prepared to re-rent. The car has GPS and it's location can be tracked by Ruff or it's officers, directors, managers, affiliates or car owners at any time. Please make sure to keep track of and retain any charging adapters, cables or Sentry mode USBs that come with the car. Loss of these items may result in a $100 fee per item. *Charging past 90% accelerates the degradation of the battery - When you receive the car it will be set to stop at a 90% charge. If you go into the settings and adjust it then charge past 90% while you have the car a $25 fee will apply per instance (tracked by Tesla Ap) Tesla has designated certain chargers as "high traffic". The charger at Washington Square Mall is one of them. When you plug the car into one of these chargers the car will automatically adjust it's maximum charge setting from 90% to 80%. We actively look for this from the App and move it back to 90% but can't ensure that we always do it. You are free to go into the charging setting and move it back up to 90% when you plug into one of these superchargers. There are no penalties or fees for doing so by us or by Tesla. Please review all of the FAQs For insurance purposes, through the App maximum speed is limited to approximately 90 mph (as of now that also limits the car to Chill mode). This car is being provided to rent through the Turo System by Ruff Rentals, LLC. By reserving the car through the Turo System you agree to Ruff Rentals, LLC's Terms of Service.   • What happens if I am unable to recharge the battery to where I received it?

  • How does insurance work?
    Neither Ruff Rentals, nor Turo can sell you insurance to cover the car. Allianz has a trip protector product but it only covers up to $40,000 so you will need to have your own personal auto policy which covers you for rental cars. You are 100% responsible for what happens to the vehicle while it is in your possession. If you do not have proper insurance or an ability to pay for damage on this car please don't rent it. It may be worth verifying that your insurance company will cover a Ruff Rentals, LLC rental that is rented through Turo.
  • Are there any fees for supercharging or other types of charging?
    Potentially. I will pass on any fees that are charged to me. Please be aware of Tesla's Idle Fee policy for Supercharging: Idle Fee In consideration of others who need to use a Supercharger, we ask that you move your vehicle when it is finished charging. To encourage this, you will incur an idle fee for the time your car remains parked in a charging stall after it is finished charging. We will waive the idle fee if your car is moved within five minutes after it is finished charging, and the idle fee will not accumulate while less than half of the charging stalls at your location are occupied. All vehicles are subject to idle fees, regardless of when your vehicle was purchased. To avoid idle fees, we recommend you monitor your vehicle while using a Supercharger and encourage you to use the Tesla mobile app to track your vehicle’s charge status. Idle fees are incurred on a per minute basis. The idle fee rate for each location may change from time to time, and the latest information is provided in the map pin pop-up (accessible through the navigation application on your vehicle touchscreen) or on a sign at the Supercharger location, and on the Tesla webpage. Charging past 90% Charging past 90% accelerates the degradation of the battery - When you receive the car it will be set to stop at a 90% charge. If you go into the settings and adjust it then charge past 90% while you have the car a $25 fee will apply per instance - actual mileage can vary dramatically based on average speed, terrain etc. (tracked by Tesla Ap)

    Cleaning Fee: We offer a pre-paid cleaning Extra for $29. We typically utilize a third party to clean the cars and we pay them. If you choose not to pay for the pre-paid cleaning and return the car dirty to where it requires more than a very light touch up we will charge a $49 fee to clean it in preparation for our next rental. NOTE: In the VERY unlikely event we are unable to clean it prior to your rental you will not be charged a fee and we would be happy to reimburse you for your cleaning extra if you prepaid it upon your request.
  • What if I need to change my return time?
    If you need to return the car prior to the scheduled return time as long as it is within my normal operating hours of 7am-10pm just send me a message or call me to request the change. If the change is outside of my normal operating hours a $50 fee will apply. If the change is outside of my normal operating hours but at PDX then I will likely charge the parking fee instead of the $50 fee. For anything that extends the reservation this request must be processed through the Turo Ap as an extension to the reservation, this is important for both parties to maintain proper insurance coverage for the entire time the car is outside of my possession.

  • Parking Tickets
    Please note that the City of Portland is aggressive with parking tickets in downtown Portland. If you receive a ticket during your stay I recommend you pay it. If I receive a notification about a ticket through the court system I will pay it and request reimbursement through Turo.

The car is limited to ONLY Tesla Supercharging which there is only 3 on the outskirts of town and takes about an hour to get back to the rental place. No adapter was provided to charge with the hundreds of chargers around town. The vehicle is also locked to "chill" acceleration mode and cannot be changed which is quiet dangerous when you are expecting the vehicle to do something and the vehicle lacks that ability. There was still a box or tupplewear of food behind the passenger seat from the owner. One good note was their communication was great.
