Come experience the brand new Tesla Model 3 Long Range. With up to 310 miles of all-electric range and peace of mind from the extensive super charger network, this car can take you wherever you need to go.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND ELECTRIC VEHICLES HAVE UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS. THIS CAR IS 100% ELECTRIC AND CAN NOT USE GASOLINE :-)
This model is equipped with the long range battery as well as the enhanced auto-pilot (EAP). The EAP system will pretty much drive the car itself on the freeway, though the driver is expected to maintain hands on the wheel and be prepared to take over when needed.
I highly recommend this car for a weekend road trip. You can map out your drive using the Tesla Trip planner (https://www.tesla.com/trips) to see where you might need to stop to recharge. Charging takes anywhere between 15-60 minutes depending on how much range you need. The Superchargers are usually located near restaurants and coffee shops, which is nice when you're on an extended trip.
I have been renting vehicles on Turo since 2013 and have completed over 100 rental trips, so you can count on me to take care of you and provide clear and reliable communication. You can expect to pick the car up from my house with about 90% charge. If you are planning a long distance trip and need the extra range please contact me to arrange for the car to be ready. Generally I do not charge the car above 90% unless leaving on a long trip (>200miles). This preserves the longevity of the battery.
The car comes with a portable charger, capable of plugging into a standard 110 outlet as well as a higher powered 220 outlet (like a dryer plugs into). So if you are staying someplace with a garage or other convenient place to part within 20 feet of an outlet, this is an excellent way to charge the car overnight. You are also welcome to use the Tesla Supercharger network. Pricing is available online and the car will also display the rate, which is generally ~30 cents per KWh, which translates to about 7 cents per mile of driving, about on par with gas cost to drive a Toyota Prius. Charging at a private is much cheaper, usually about 10 cents per KWh, or around 2 cents per mile.
If you choose to use the Supercharger network the cost will be automatically billed to me and I will pass that cost on to you at the end of your trip. You do not need to bring the car back fully charged, as I have a charger on premises.
Feel free to contact me with additional questions, you're going to love this car!
