If you like being outdoors and getting dirty, you should try an Element. Great for camping, getting to the slopes, traveling with dogs, hauling couches, driving something with tons of head room (I'm 6'7"), or just driving around town. Bluetooth, iPod and audio-in stereo with HD radio. Universal smart phone holder (may hold some GPS units). All-wheel drive makes sure you can get up the hill in snowy weather. Decent ground clearance can handle some dirt/gravel roads. Plastic floors mean drive home in your muddy shoes and I'll worry about cleaning. Ski rack and large cargo box both optional, but they can't both be used at the same time. Bike rack may be available, but is not at the time of this writing. Extended back-seat legroom means your dog can hop in and out easily.
With both front and back seats folded flat, two adults can sleep lengthwise in the car (ask for details). With the rear moonroof, you can watch the stars while you sleep...unless the cargo box is on. My bear bell is always on the gear shifter, so feel free to use it.
Plenty of cargo room, especially with the roof cargo box. Seats can be folded up to the side walls or removed completely for a huge cargo area. When I show up to haul something, it's inevitable that someone is very doubting of the Element's abilities until I get things loaded (couches, pre-hung doors, lumber up to 12 ft).
