My wife and I rented this vehicle for 5 days to tour Seattle, Mount Rainier, and surrounding area. It was a great experience, but being the first renter this review is longer than most I'd write. First, the positives: Overall fantastic vehicle, especially if you want to turn heads - this chromed out vehicle with 24" rims and full-size, oiled up 5th wheel will do just that. It made an impression and got stares nearly everywhere we went! The overall condition is befitting of a vehicle 10+ yrs old - slight imperfections here and there but clearly well maintained/cared for. We loved the moon roof, and the comfort level of the ride while driving far exceeded expectations. This vehicle was built before modern navigations systems, so the Garmin GPS that was included was also appreciated. Communication with Jarrell was perfect and he was extremely accommodating for our late pick-up and drop-off of the vehicle at the airport - it couldn't have been simpler.
Some neutral points to consider: 1. fuel economy - we got about 11 mi/gal city and 15 mi/gal hwy; this was actually slightly better than we expected 2. It has very dark tinted windows; never having driven with tinted windows, it was somewhat difficult to see at times, especially at night. 3. It is a large and tall vehicle, of course, so I did have to help older passengers in and out and perspective & parking had a learning curve.
There were only 2 reasons we aren't giving 5 stars: 1. Despite copious air fresheners, there was a very noticeable residual cigarette odor; we aren't allergic, but other riders definitely mentioned it. 2. The "trunk" itself does not have a key; the way to get into that area is in itself a deterrent to strangers doing so and we had no security issues whatsoever, but with a high-profile vehicle like this one we would have felt much more secure had we been able to lock our luggage in the back end.
All in all it was an exciting vehicle to drive and, again, Jarrell was great to rent from. I'd happily recommend it.
