For years I've struggled to borrow a truck every time I needed to transport something big. Now you can rent mine on the cheap rather than pestering your friends to borrow their trucks to pick up that couch you just HAVE to have on Craigslist!
Let's be clear... this truck is a bare bones work truck. It runs and drives very reliably HOWEVER.
It does NOT have things like: A/C, cruise control, power mirrors, cup holders, or 4 wheel drive.
It DOES have things like: scratches, dents, and Wal-Mart seat covers covering very beat up front seats. Also, potential renters should know that the previous owner did have a dog, and while I've done my best to get all the dog hair out, if you're severely allergic, you may still detect it.
That's about it. I have a set of truck ramps that can be rented with the truck if desired.
NOTE REGARDING RETURN CONDITION: Yes, it is an old truck. However, that does not mean it is your personal dumpster. If, in the course of normal work truck activities, you scratch the bedliner/scuff the bumper cover, etc... I don't really care. However, you are responsible for returning the vehicle in the condition you got it with respect to fuel level and condition. That means if you move a ton of mulch, please sweep out or spray out the bed before returning. If you track a ton of mud into the cab, give it a quick vaccuum.
Rule of thumb: if your rental was less than a week in duration, please return it in essentially "rental ready condition". If your rental is longer than a week, I should have to spend no more than 15-20 minutes (quick vaccuum etc.) cleaning before renting back out.
The only way I can keep the rental cost down is to rely on responsible owners. If I have to spend an hour cleaning the truck, or replace gas you used and didn't refill, you will be charged a $75 reconditioning fee.
NOTE REGARDING ACCEPTABLE USES: I get asked a lot about acceptable use for the truck. It is a relatively old work truck. Things like moving landscaping materials, wood/rocks, etc. are all fine. It does have a hitch, but I do not have a ball, and I don't know how well the wiring harness works. As such, light towing (small box trailer, etc.) is fine, but nothing above 2500lbs.
NOTE REGARDING DELIVERY: For the specified delivery fee, I will meet the buyer within 20 miles of zip 02879. Larger delivery radius is negotiable for rentals of duration one week or longer.
