Chip is the truck name, he has a great personality. :)
Manual Transmission. Great truck for hauling things too big to fit in your car. Fun truck to drive around, great to go up in the mountains!
This truck is not a brand new truck, it has seen its days. There is a large dent on the driver side, if you scratch him, I won't mind, if he comes back with a large dent then there might be a problem.
The truck has a topper to keep your things dry while hauling, or I can take it off. Please indicate if you would like it on or off at the time of booking, that way I can have it ready for you. 4x4 works, great in the snow. MPG is around 17-18 with the topper and about 19 to 21 without.
I can come to you if you can give me a ride back to my house, within a few miles. I can pickup at the airport for 40 dollars, I can accept CC, Taxi ride to Downtown is 50 dollars one way. Please schedule your rental to start 40 to 50 minutes after your flight lands as that is about the time it takes to get through the airport and baggage on a busy time in the airport. If you are flying out at the airport and I am working, we can workout to drop off in one of the cheap parking lots and I can pick it up later.

This was a last minute rental, Nick responded quickly and we very satisfactory made arrangements. Would rent again!
Nick had great communication and was very helpful and specific answering all questions we had about the rental and transportation. Truck ran great and seemed very reliable. We were very pleased to get 25 MPG on the highway! Also really liked the USB and auxiliary input option on the stereo to plug in an iPod or regular MP3 player. 4x4 worked as noted which helped in the snow, sometimes it stuck in 4x4, but came out after shifting gears a few times. We would definitely rent from Nick again.
If you are looking for nuts and bolts transportation or are looking for a cheap ski trip or camping vehicle, this could be your ticket. This car delivered for us on a week long trip with heavy snow at times. Engine runs good, CD player with mp3 plug in works, heater works. Nick, the owner, was very easy to work with and made pick up and drop off a breeze. Only drawback was that the topper doesn't lock and 4WD was a bit finicky to shift in and out of, but worked well when engaged.
If your looking for cheap transportation with a little extra muscle and a reliable owner, and don't care about aesthetics, than rock this classic 90's rig on your adventure.
