I had an accident due to unusual road conditions, and I'm certain Michael won't be giving me the best rating ; ) the truck was built for weather. The driver - despite his cockiness - apparently was not.
I say this because Michael went above and beyond to make sure my trip was still a success despite this. He didn't cause a fuss, made sure I knew what I was doing while driving such a truck model, and had excellent music taste based on his default radio station.
I will rent from Michael again on my next trip. If he lets me. Hope so.
The truck was safe, built for the road (I just came across an anomaly), and comfortable to drive in. I felt safe.
Great truck from getting from A to B. Also good for a Tennessee driver. Its UT orange made it feel like I was back home sometimes.
Well, I couldn't ask for better customer service. Michael dropped off the truck where I was staying and let me then drop it off at the train station when I left. The truck itself was just pure fun. I could put bicycles in the back and a canoe. The truck was bright orange and I could find it amongst any number of cars and trucks. For sure when I come back to the Ice Festival and Northern Lights, I'll contact Michael through Turo and rent it if it's available. I liked his truck so much I might even arrange my days around the time his truck was available.
The car is pretty old, but in good condition. What would you expect from 21 jears old car, except it drives you from point A to B. And its one of only two cars offered in Fairbanks. Michael is so nice that he allowed us to go on unpaved road. Except high fuel consumption everything else is perfect.
