Travel in comfort and safety.
Lots of room for 4-5 people and carry your gear in the bed.
4 wheel drive with a smooth automatic transmission.
The whole back window even rolls down!
I just put on a set of high end studded tires for the winter season to help you stay on the road.

The Tundra worked well again for my group - great for carrying all our gear and especially the XC skis. Truck got decent gas mileage and very comfortable for 4 people.
The truck was all around awesome, especially with the fluctuating temperatures in Anchorage. Everything worked quite well. The truck is well equipped with working 4x4 option. Was quite useful and made the travels around Anchorage quite easy. Anchorage is riddled with radio stations, so the lack of an auxiliary option is quite alright.
Great truck for tooling around the Kenai and Denali areas. Has dents, rust, cracked windshield--didn't have to worry a bit about rocks, mud, or scratches. Mechanically sound with two exceptions: 1) brakes. Very squishy, felt like air in the lines, ABS activated inappropriately when stopping in rain. And 2) tires did fine but rear were almost bald, didn't inspire much confidence when driving in the Denali area. Those issues fixed and I'd rent again in a heartbeat. Great owner, easy pick up and drop off, quick to respond to concerns.
My wife and I were very happy with this truck. It had plenty of room on the back seat for our stuff, drive smooth, shifted quietly and smoothly, and we really liked that the rear window opened and closed with a button. We picked it up from their house and even though they weren't there, we were still able to reach Christian and he told us where we could find a key. We got the truck and it was super messy inside. We took it to laser wash and vacuumed it (they have free vacuums), detailed it, then washed it. If you rent from Turo, do the owners and next renters a favor and return the vehicle clean. Seriously. The truck, as you may know already from reading previous reviews, has some significant bed and fender dents. None of these affect drivability or functionality of doors or tailgate. The hood release requires a set of pliers. Take care when shutting the hood. Pull bank up on it a couple times to ensure that it is latched well. Cruise control works great. According to road construction sites radars the speedo runs slower than you are going. If your speedo says 55 you are doing 57 or 58. Not a major issue, just something we noticed. They included an emergency kit with the truck! Jumper cables, gloves, there was a tow strap, an Ice scraper, and a few other things. All-in-all, we had a great time in Alaska and would love to come back and use Christian and Bronwyn's Tundra again!
The price was decent but there more than a few things that could have been better even for the price. When we first got the car it had a stench that took most of the trip to air out (cheap female perfume or something); the lights were a bit tricky and we ran out of battery twice, but the hood cannot be accessed easily as the button is broken so we were lucky we had pliers to work around it. It still has trash in the car from previous customer when we received it (I assume).
Reliable vehicle that met all our needs for touring and hiking around Anchorage and the Kenai. Communication with Christian was great and the pick up and drop off went smoothly. I'd definitely rent again from Christian!
I arrived to Alaska to find a truck with a flat tire. Christian suggested another vehicle in place which I respectfully declined. I didn't see the vehicle until the following day. Although it came with a few hassles, Christian was able to provide assistance and work out the issues. I did experience a bit of miscommunication on the phone, but it sounded like they had just come from Australia. We negotiated a few extra days and he agreed. The truck is an older generation of the tundra with dings and dents. Cracked windshield and engine light on. On my trip, one of the headlights went out. Luckily police is not as critical as California police. Although it may sound as a bad experience the vehicles heater works excellent and in the winter, it's all you care about. The truck runs smooth, strong, and kept up with my week long trip. Gas saver since I went everywhere and filled once. If you're having a trip like mine where you're out and about, excursions in the snow, Alyeska and northern lights this truck works just fine for that. Threw everyone's gear in the back and had a great time in anchorage. I would recommend the truck for that price to anyone visiting. Maybe fix the engine light. I would say small hiccups that could be easily fixed. If I didn't experience any of these it would be a perfect 5 star. Thanks Christian.
Christian's Tundra is perfect for Alaska. It's seen more than its fair share of the rough road conditions, and has a laundry list of insignificant issues, like a cracked windshield, dents, check engine light, etc. but mechanically it seems to work very well, and was perfectly reliable. The small defects make it feel right at home in Alaska where many (most?) vehicles have cracked windshields. It is spacious and capable on slippery/muddy roads. Christian is very helpful and accommodating. My only issue was poor gas mileage, but that is to be expected from a full size pick up truck. Overall, highly recommended!
We had a wonderful experience renting Christians Tundra. The car was really nice and roomy. Picking up and droppong off the truck was a breeze and Chritsian was a very nice guy. The communication with Christian was perfect from when we booked till we dropped the car off. I highly recommend renting from him for a stay in Alaska! It's basically the perfect car for an Alaskan adventure.
Christian is a great renter. Working with him was easy, he is flexible and works with you on short notice. Instructions for picking up and dropping off the truck were easy and precise.
I highly recommend Christian as a rental vehicle provider for your Alaskan adventure!
We loved the Tundra truck. Christian and his wife were very nice and even gave us a ride from airport. The Tundra did have some cracks but that turned out to be great! In Alaska there are many cracked windshields now we did not have to worry about it being on us! It has a rear window which was real handy in cooling the truck without having the wind in our face. Heat and AC worked great, brakes were good. My husband loved it so much he wants to buy one! It was clean, Cd player works, charging plugs worked. We looked like regular Alaskins not worth robbing LOL. Rent from these nice folks you won't regret it. Oh there were lots of dents but that meant no worries for us!
Very accommodating. Pickup & drop off at his home was easy (near the airport). Cracked windshield, dented fenders & no low beams made us feel right at home in Trapper Creek. 4x4 useful getting out snow-machining. Would use again as long as the lights were fixed.
