My first Turo experience ever was with Robin's Jeep The delivery was 45 minutes late, the windshield and driver and passenger window were dirty, I had to stop and clean them inside and out. Worst of all was the whistling noise the Jeep made after we hit 35 miles an hour. Imagine 10 days of a loud whistling noise, it was like the door or window wasn't sealed properly. If this was a rental from a company I would have turned around in the first minute and exchanged it, I asked for a 50% discount, was given a 25% discount and Turo threw in a 100 dollar credit. Based on the other reviews I was shocked that this was my experience. To be fair to Robin, he was out of town and did not personally handle any part of the process. The person that handled it for him was literally hard of hearing/partially deaf, and could not actually hear the noise. However, Robin gets my money and should be held accountable for his product as he describes it on Turo. I would have Robin ride with me for several minutes to make sure the sound is gone before I could recommend this to anyone. Or, be told up front about the noise. The whole experience really put a damper and major annoyance on our family outing.
In the beginning this couldn't have been a more smooth transaction. Robin was in direct contact and everything was moving along perfectly. Delivery day. We payed a $60 surcharge to have the vehicle delivered and picked up at the Portland Airport. At this point all is fine. When I sat down in the vehicle I couldn't help but smell all of the various odors that came along with this rental the mixture of wet dog and some form of fecal matter overtake all of your senses. Thankfully we had the top off most of the time. The interior carpet was missing, therefore it felt like an oven in the front seats. All of the heat from the engine block was thrusting itself into the front seat leg area. Once again thankfully we had the top off. I messaged Robin through the app to address the odors. No response. I then made her delivery helper Brian aware of the foul scents that were upon us. We rolled with it and just kept enjoying our trip. I spoke with Brian concerning pickup of the vehicle. We agreed on a 8PM pickup at the American Airlines departure side. My flight was earlier than my sisters therefore she was going to hand the keys back.
Drop off day. All three numbers are non responsive. Calls, text, and messages through the app. We had to park the vehicle in the short term parking lot. I notified all three members of the owners party that this was going to occur. Once again no response. All three were sent pics of the cars location and key location. I've included in the trip all of the screen shots of text and my call log.

Everything as advertised. Pick up and drop off coordinated easily and made simple. The vehicle was exactly what we needed and requested. Would absolutely use again. Made our trip what we wanted it to be.
The Wrangler was exactly what we needed for this trip! We had a blast and we were glad Robin had it available. It made for a truly memorable experience for us! Robin was great at keeping in touch and was very friendly and patient!
Robin was great and the Jeep was amazing! The family and I enjoyed every second in it around town, to the beach and back! The car is on my list for fun getaway rentals!!!!

We wanted to check out a jeep before purchasing our own, and dealing with Robin to make things work was amazing, she was understanding and worked with us, jeep was extraordinary and made our decision on purchasing a jeep much easier!
Great vehicle- just what we needed to survive snowpocalypse 2017! Owners were awesome, offered to extend with us if our plane was cancelled- amazing, recommend! It's worth it! Vehicle was in great shape, ran perfectly, no problems :)
Robin was very easy to work with, and the Jeep was fantastic! It was in great condition -- exactly as described, drove great, was a blast, and had plenty of room for luggage for the four of us. Robin was very quick in responding to every communication and made us comfortable through the entire experience. Even when I messed up the return date and needed to return it a day earlier, there was no problem with adjusting the drop off at the last minute.
