I keep my AWD Jeep Compass very clean. I don't eat or drink in it, and I'm a nonsmoker. It has plenty of room for luggage and gear, and I have a ski and kayak rack available. (Please let me know if you'll be needing the rack installed.)
***Update: My Jeep has some new cosmetic damage, which does not affect performance.***
CD/AM/FM, cold AC, heated seats, cruise control, 6 airbags, fog lights, tinted glass, AWD, and stability control. Plenty of headroom and legroom for 4 adults. Good cargo space in back with privacy cover.
Fuel Economy: 23 mpg in the city, 28 on the highway.
The Jeep Compass is a compact crossover SUV with a 172 hp 2.4 liter World I4 gasoline engine. Mine has been upgraded with a K&N cold air intake.
2008 Jeep CompassSkyler's Jeep Compass1554
Skyler was great, and the Jeep was perfect for our trip! He picked us up at the airport (even helped load up some of our bags) and was there again waiting for us on the way home. Friendly and punctual, we would definitely rent from him again.
His 2008 Jeep Compass is well-maintained and had just enough room for my wife, our 1-year-old and myself (along with the necessary baby gear). Even though we weren't putting the 4WD to the test (I'd definitely run that by Skyler first!), it was reassuring to know that if we somehow wound up needing it, we were in a more capable car than some base model compact from Hertz. For this city guy taking his wife and baby into the wilds of Montana, that's great peace of mind.
Skyler was awesome to work with. He dropped off his Jeep at the airport for me and then dropped me off as well when I was finished. Skyler leaving some drinks in the Jeep for my use was an excellent touch and shows he cares about his customer service. I give Skyler's Jeep 5 stars and would rent it again as well as recommend anyone else to use it too. It handles well and rides great!
