Awesome vehicle! My wife and I loved driving it around Olympic Natl Park and camping out on the roof tent. The tent was pretty easy to set up and fold up, which was nice. Only thing wished for was a removable top with the tent on top.
Awesome vehicle, we had a great time driving this beast machine on snow .. it run so smooth on snowy road with complete controls on turns. and its a head turner in crowd ...We really enjoyed the ride ..fun time.
This Jeep is bad ass. I didn't get a chance to take it off road, but looks like it can handle it. Leland is a cool guy. He is kind enough to drop me off after i returned the car (Thank you Leland). Would definitely rent again.
What an adventure with this Jeep! After being frustrated with not being able to find a rental Jeep (yes, I'm a Jeep lover), I decided to try out Turo. At first, I was a little skeptical to try something outside of a standard car rental business; boy am I glad I did! After we picked up our bags at the airport, we had the Jeep waiting for us in the parking garage, ready to go! No shuttles, no lines, just pick up and go!
This Jeep is nothing like the standard car rentals. It is completely customized with the MW3 edition, powerful lighting system, 4" lift with 35" Toro tires, and a full premium car system (heated leather seats, navigation, sound, etc.).
My wife and I used this for our anniversary trip. We first went to Salish Lodge and the valet people were so impressed with this Jeep, they parked it in VIP parking! We then took a drive through Mt. Ranier, with complete confidence this Jeep would get us through anything. Curious about the lighting system, I turned it on in pitch black and I suddenly felt like we had football field lighting! Let there be light! Through the huge elevations, the option to manually shift made the ride very smooth. Deep into Mt. Ranier, we lost complete cell phone connections...no problem. We just used the Jeep navigation and it took us home!
The owner is very friendly and easy to work with. The price of this rental is insanely cheap. A standard SUV rental was 2-3 times more expensive.
Leland's Jeep was in great shape and it looked really nice parked outside with the HID lights and the rain coming down around it. It was like a commercial. The hood scoop and Call of Duty embroidery also added to the cool factor. If you are going camping or into deep dark woods, I can see how the super bright $5000 light package would be beneficial. On top of that, Leland is a very nice guy.
Had the day off work so I rented this jeep to go up into the mountains and camp overnight. The light bar system on this thing is amazing. Lights up the entire mountain side! And had no problems climbing over some rough rocky/branch laden terrain. Sound system is actually pretty good too. I'll rent it again to go into the mountians.
