This car lives up to the "S" in SUV with the sporty BMW handling that the badge deserves. My 2013 BMW X5 35D is a fun SUV and and a kick to drive with. Handles corners and acceleration better than most cars. This is my back up vehicle and I use it off and on for going to the dog park, errands, travel with my pooches, and for work when I am giving my BMW M235i (see my other listing!) a day off.
It holds a lot of cargo and has versatility in fold down seats for those large awkward things you get at Ikea or Costco. Do chores in luxury with a sport oriented SUV, not a boring "Soccer Mom" van or cookie cutter Ford or Chevy.
Unfortunately, while my SUV has the ability to tow trailers, this use is not allowed during the rental period. Any use of the tow hitch during rental is not covered under Turo's insurance and not allowed by me either, no exceptions.
Some features include:

As always with my listings you will get a full tank of gas and a washed and vacuumed car.
As with both my cars I strive to take the best care of them and keep them clean and pet hair free as much as possible (I have a ADA Service dog). I ask that you also respect this when renting my car.
Renter is responsible for full replacement cost of key if it is lost to include programming from BMW.
If traveling with pets please let me know and I can provide clean blankets to lay on the fold down seats or the trunk. Please clean any and all pet hair before return to avoid a cleaning fee.
Good to go pass can be used for I-405, WA-520 and Tacoma Narrows bridge for discount prices. Renter responsible for reimbursement.
If pick up is more than 30 mins after scheduled time you must contact the owner of the car by phone or text. Failure to do so may result in cancelled trip under Turo's policy and you may not be reimbursed. Please respect the time of the car owner if you are late.
PICK UP/DROP OFF ONLY AVAILABLE FRIDAY-SUNDAY FROM THE HOURS OF 8AM-10PM. MUST BE SELECTED AT TIME OF RENTAL AND SUBJECT TO SCHEDULE OF CAR OWNER. OWNER WILL PICK UP RENTER, RETURN TO PLACE OF RESIDENCE AND RELEASE CAR AT THAT TIME. Does not count against miles, but does against fuel. Limited to 15 mile radius. Seattle renters will drop off at SeaTac to catch Light Rail back into town.
No smoking. Includes recreational marijuana smoking or transport within vehicle due to the odor.
Do I allow extra mileage?
I do allow extra mileage at the rate of $0.75/mi. I only accept payments through Turo's platform as this covers insurance for the car.
I left my stuff in the car, how can I get it back?
Due to the amount of renters that seem to forget personal items I wanted to reiterate that items left in the car are the renter's responsibility. The car gets rented often so items left may be taken by the next renter which is not my issue.
I do my best to clean and inspect the car between trips, but sometime things tucked into nooks, cubbies and pockets are not found. Please notify me ASAP if you think you left something. I will do my best to notify renters of items I find after rental.
Return of Items: I can send your stuff via USPS, FedEx or UPS if renter covers cost of shipment. Insurance of items can be paid for if renters chooses to do so. I will hold items for local renters and try to get it to them by dropping off or having renters stop by place of rental for pick up. Not responsible for lost, broken, or stolen items while they are in my care.
You have a tow package! Can I tow stuff with your car?
No. Turo Insurance does not cover towed property due to high liability costs involved and the added risk exposure. Renters are not allowed to use the tow package under any circumstances. The tow hitch will be locked out to prevent misuse during rental period. No exceptions.
Can I pick up the car early?
All renters must request changes to trips through Turo. Cars cannot be released to renter unless that time is covered under Turo's Insurance policy. I will strive to approve changes, but due to other rental requests, work or my own schedule this may not be available.
Where can I park my car while I borrow your's?
You can park your car in the guest spot across from the driveway so long as the rental is 72 hours of less. The road is PRIVATE and street parking is not allowed. Longer rentals can park on the city street. Absolutely NOT responsible for any damage, theft or vandalism to cars left during rental.
