Dirk's Subaru was awesome! We had no troubles with picking up or dropping off the car, it was clean, and it ran great! I highly recommend Dirk's car!
The car was fantastic, it arrived to our AirBnB location and was super clean inside. Great car all around, perfect for us. Dirk was very accommodating, and communication was great. Would certainly rent from him again.
Dirk deserves 5 stars for both his car and his helpfulness. Dirk delivered the car to our airbnb with his bike on the rack and cycled home. You can't be more helpful than that. First, the car. I rented this for 10 days for a visit to my son on his graduation from college. The car feels brand new and is in immaculate condition. Dirk has kept this in prime working order and there wasn't a single glitch during use. We were able to use his USB cable to attach my iphone and this gave us music, navigation and handless communication.
Second, the car's performance: During graduation weekend my wife and I helped him move into a new home and the car was ideal as the seats in the back collapse down and it can carry boxes without any problem.
After graduation my wife headed back East and my son and I put our steel frame road bikes on the bike rack Dirk supplied with the care and drove from Portland to Crater Lake National Park. This was when the car really came into its own. The road handling was a treat, the 4 wheel drive helped over gravel roads and the fuel economy was much better than my older Subaru Impreza model - and with much more zip.
Upon our return to Portland, the handover couldn't have been more simple. I will rent this car again from Dirk next time I visit Portland.
