Don't know really what to say... Remy didn't show up for the rental service. There were originally issues with pick up location, and Remy was unaccommodating and downright rude. She accepted a trip with an inquiry with an invalid pick up location. Once the change in pick up location could not be resolved, Turo advised the trip would proceed as planned. Remy didn't show and essentially ruined my weekend in NY, where I had a wedding planned. No response from her after the issue. I showed up at the airport and waited an hour.
Disheartening, since I use sharing-apps on a daily basis. For any renters out there, I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere, there are cheaper and better alternatives.

Remy was easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and thankfully accepted a last minute change to pickup/dropoff times. The car was in good condition and did pretty well on gas mileage on the highway. Picking up at the Hoboken station made it easy to escape upstate. Would book with Remy again!
This was my first time using Turo and it was a seamless experience. I will be using Turo again. The only difficultly with borrowing a car is that most are located outside of manhattan and that makes the pick up/drop off inconvenient. Some hosts will charge for drop off (which makes sense given the holland tunnel charges, toll roads, etc). But Remy's car was in great shape, she got a car wash beforehand, had the cell phone charger and aux cord ready for us. Plenty of trunk space too if you need. Remy couldn't be there for the drop off/pick up so she had her parents coordinate with me, no major issues. No complaints.
